Property is managed by a couple which in somewhat sense appears to be a mix of boutique hotel and homestay.

Perhaps another look at the chef and kitchen, though not terrible by any means, just needs some finesse. Spice is too spicy, mild is too sweet etc. Breakfast was great.

Great new property designed like the US white house exterior. Best part were the stunning views and sounds of the jungle from the room. Lovely friendly and accommodating staff and caretaker. Had a great stay.

When you’re a vegetarian and order pasta, make sure to check if there is meat in the dish. I ordered a pasta arrabiata and there was chicken in it. For the rest the food and everything was very good!

The beds were really comfortable, Nice pool and very kind staff. Not all food on the menu was available but the things we did have were really nice! Also the view from the hotel room is incredible. Very nice place to relax after the trekking that we did in Munnar!

The place is unfinished . While it's fine, the place has been open for over 8 months so they should really focus on finishing that up. Didn't like the fact that they had only buffet for dinner on some days. Wish that was advertised.. The people who manage this place are nice but could be more receptive to feedback. My father offered them some constructive criticism after asking if he can offer it. They said yes but when he started providing it they just nodded and walked off. Perhaps they didn't care for it but as part of the hospitality business , you need to roll with the punches.

The staff are friendly, location is decent , rooms are spacious. The food was good as well. I enjoyed the balcony specifically and while the hotel is not located high up, the view with the trees makes up for it.

Breakfast was basic. We’ve been spoilt for choice at other hotels. Restaurant on property not very busy and menu not fully functional yet. Road to hotel is very bumpy.

Seems like a new establishment with still ongoing work around the property. It was comfortable, nice big balcony with a beautiful forestry view. Staff was great.

When we visited (late oct 2022) the hotel had only just opened (4 days before we arrived!). Unfortunately despite the listing stating the swimming pool was open (and including a photo of a swimming pool!), and that there was a hot tub, garden and terrace, all of these are still under construction so there were no facilities at the property, which is the reason we chose this over other cheaper hotels in the area. The restaurant is open but there are many things on the menu that are unavailable, and we didnt always get what we ordered! I did ask for a discount for the misleading listing and they did give 20% off the price of the room

The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Lovely bathroom with fantastic rain shower and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The balcony had a fabulous view. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Quality/price ratio not good. Breakfast was just average. In a single evening & morning they called the room 8 times, including at 10:30pm. They said come to breakfast it’s ready. Yes we know the breakfast hours. It is unacceptable to call customers like that. Location is far from sightseeing places

- The road leading up to the hotel is not great with lots of potholes and uneven surface making it an uncomfortable journey to and from the hotel - there was some building work being carried out at the hotel so it was noisy - the towels were not fresh and clean and had a bad smell and looked like a rag. - the toilet roll was not replenished - There was no bathroom mat available - the bedsheets and linen were not clean - the swimming pool was cold and the tiles surrounding the pool are very slippery. Although there is a sign the tiles are not suitable for surrounding a pool which is a high risk of falls and accidents - the lift was not working in the morning when we had to leave for the airport and the receptionist was not available straightaway. when we found him and told him about the lift he tried to call the maintenance. there was noone to help with the luggage. I finally asked someone in the restaurant to help. We were therefore getting late to go to the airport.

It was at the end of a very bumpy road which was awkward to get to.

The owners and staff were very friendly. The staff helped us to book a jeep safari and taxis during our stay. The room was very clean with a lovely bathroom, and had a balcony view. The pool was clean and quiet. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.
