We were only there 3 nights so did not need the kitchen. But if we had stayed a week or longer, I would have wanted to maybe cook my own meal a few times. And that probably would have been ok with the hosts, but the kitchen did not convey that message. It was untidy and did not seem set up for guests to use.

Very clean and modern compared to what I have come across in India so far. It was close enough to walk to many of the popular attractions, but we opted for a Tuk Tuk.

Breakfast; toast and fruit only and I can't eat bread! The chef was sick unfortunately, hence the limited menu, but we weren't compensated in any way, even as a token gesture. Still charged us the same. There wasnt a hint of yoga either; the "shala" looked like it last saw people 20yrs ago.... was basically a rooftop storage facility with a few filthy mats chucked in a corner. Do not be fooled by the photos!!!

The owners certainly go the extra mile to make one's stay as rewarding as possible. Yoga classes available on site. Extremely powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Would recommend without hesitation.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Whatever we needed or any questions we had, they had us covered. Their personalized recommendations and assistance in finding the ideal driver for our 3-day trip to Munnar truly made our experience unforgettable. Thanks to Joseph and his team and our fantastic driver Sibi, our trip exceeded our expectations, especially considering our tendency for last-minute decisions. Not a lot of privacy since the dining table is directly in front of the room and staff was sitting, playing mobile phones, there during the day also. Bathroom has no window, so can get quite smelly and mouldy. If people do their workouts in the morning it can get noisy because it’s above your room.

Comfortable bed, smoke-free environment, big rooftop space where you can sit or do yoga. Overall clean in the room but not necessarily in the rest of the place.

Super cosy, peaceful place only 20 mins walk from the centre. The most lovely, welcoming hosts Lijo and Mr Manoj who arranged a cab for us from the airport and stayed up late to help us check in. Breakfast each day was made and served with love, care and attention. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The stay at Veda was absolutely lovely, the host made us feel like home and helped us with lots of useful tips, especially what to visit and where to get good spices. The location is in a peaceful neighborhood, away from any traffic noise, so you will be able to rest well. It is also walking distance from the main attractions in Fort Kochi, around 20 min by foot. The rooms are clean and cozy with AC. They also have a rooftop where you can do your yoga practices peacefully. It was a pleasure to stay here and spend time with the host. He made us one of the best masala teas. Would definitely visit again.

It still needs some hygiene progression to meet the European standards. I didn't like the fact they TV has been in the common area and not in my personal one.

I have liked very much the friendliness of the place. Compared to other where we have stayed, this one really had hot water, good enough internet. It also didn't have bugs. AC was working really well. They take a very good care of their plants.

How the booking transpired.and i dont know if i was charged for it

I honestly cannot review this establishment as i did not stay there.I arrived at address using google maps and a local driver.We were unable to find the hotel.Asked local shop right next to where Veda was suppose to be.He informed no longer theirTried phoning with no response.Got phone call back about 1/2 hr later but by that stage had found other place.Bit dissapointing
