The noise from the cockerel next door, which woke me early every morning.

Very comfortable with a large bright room. Great to have the use of a kitchen with good seating arrangement for eating. Nice outside balcony overlooking banana groves. Very helpful and friendly owners, David being very kind.

Would love to give this top marks, as David is a very good host, but it could do with a good general clean - it was very dusty in places. Not sure if David has any control over this, but there was noise from the neighbours cockerel morning, noon and night, which was at times very annoying!

David & Sheela are very kjnd and considerate hosts. They picked us up from the airport and took us for breakfast after a long overnight flight. They did everything to make us feel welcome and ensured we enjoyed our stay. The place is only a short 15 minute walk from the centre and it is set back from the main road so traffic noise is limited. Internet is free, fast and reliable. Beds are incredibly comfortable. A/C was working brilliantly. David was very helpful throughout our stay.

David the Host was Excellent in helping organize Uber and Pick me ups and very helpful in giving Directions to the sites I had to visit. Helped with the Luggage and Bags.

it was very small in the room and dusty. we booked this room to go fitness because we saw it on the pictures. but its super dirty on the rooftop so its not possible to go fitnessing.

the owners and guest at this moment were super nice to talk with. the owner invited us in their house for a drink what was so friendly.

I was so happy at this HomeStay that I stayed for 7 nights instead of 2. The room was clean and comfortable and the owner David and his family were so friendly and helpful!

The place is very cozy, family homestay, Very happy and happy people. David is the onwer, a Very polite person, he helped us with so many informations how to go to other places, so many datails and full attention, I don't know to describe It with words. Thank you for your friendship, Mr. David and family. You, your wife and your father are so sweet people. Hope to come back again to Kochi and stay with you all again.

Super outdated and the whole place needs a good clean – spotted ants and fleas – have paid a lot less in Kerala for a lot nicer and more modern. The host told me to pay extra to upgrade to a/c, but not sure I needed to, the fan was fine, so expensive for what it was. The host asked me to give him 10/10 – sorry!

Worst experience. As a homestay it didn't meet the expectations. Very congested location. Room is very suffocating. Bathroom is stingy. Overpriced.

David was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He gave local advice and even had us try a homemade wine! The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. It was great to have access to a kitchen where tea, coffee and filtered water were provided. The communal space and balcony were also lovely! It was in a great location away from the noise of the road. We would definitely stay again!

Room was not exactly the one we were expecting, however we were doing a last minute booking and only that was available. Although it was comfortable for a day's stay, might not be preferable for longer stays. Better rooms are available in the building but will have to book early during peak season.

Polite and cordial hosts. They made sure that we're comfortable. Location was really good. All basic facilities were available in the building.
