Even though the hotel is located on a busy road, you hardly notice it. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, giving us great tips and helping us with the next steps of our journey. It’s a really good option if you’re traveling on a budget.

Best hotel I stayed in India so far. I would honestly have to make an effort to find a problem there. Very clean, spacious, friendly staff, great location (40 min walking from Taj Mahal), restaurant with good food and an ok price. definitely recomend it!

the cistern or the working of western toilet needs improvement. the performance was bad at 138 room number. Also t. v. should be there for children to watch.

location was at the centre of Agra. All famous location like agra fort, sadar bazaar, tajmahal are near to the hotel. location i like the most. and peaceful environment inside the property.

I had a fantastic stay! This hotel is an oasis of calm from the hectic streets of India. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The air-conditioning was excellent and kept me cool in the heat of July. The food was very good and was reasonably cheap and the central courtyard was a pleasant place to eat.

Very kind staff. For This price the place is very good. It feels safe and relatively clean for India. Large rooms and comfy beds. It has a Nice garden. Can order food in the hotel from hosts.

Lack of basic facilities / materials - no drinking water was available in the room ( it was later provided when it was brought to the knowledge of the reception ), no hand towel in the bathroom.The hotel management instruction to the guests that they should not bring food for their consumption from the outside.Why should hotel management put such restriction on a guest if the brought in food is consumed in the room? The hotel address mentioned on the booking.com website is inadequate and does not help a guest to reach the place,unless the hotel is contacted and directions sought from the reception on phone.

It wasn’t a problem for us as there’s usually a Tuk Tuk (or 12) outside the hotel, but if you’re wanting to walk to tourist sites this is a bit far out. But being far out means it felt a bit like an oasis from the tourist chaos.

This was an absolutely delightful stay! The room had great A/C, was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We didn’t try any of the food, but the menu looked great and the smoothie was yummy! And the staff, in particular, were wonderful. Very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. We’d love to come back to support them and see more of Agra.

No lifts to upper floors. Though helpful staff brought luggages up. No available drinking water in rooms. Soap bar provided for without shampoo. Air-conditioning adequate with fans switched on.

The restaurant in the hotel have only vege options and for me thats big minus but i get it as its the part of their culture

It was super quiet but still in the center of the city. It was super clean. We wanted to dry out wet clothes and first i have put my finger on the curtain rod and for my suprise it was perfectly clean also so its not cleaned on on the top but as in home. The staff was really nice and they didnt want to take our money before we have seen our room. The hotel have nice garden

The room was pretty big and clean. We arrived very late at night and staff was still very welcoming. We had everything we wanted in the room and the actual room was exactly as in photos. Big thanks to staff, extremely helpful, very kind, attentive and nice people. The restaurant service was very affordable and waiters are very nice and kind. It’s a great experience in India to experience very polite and helpful people. We stayed for a night, the staff also agreed to keep our luggage and we were able to spend extra hours in the restaurant before our departure. Definitely recommended, location is also very easy to get to. And big thank you ❤️

Everything was splendid.

Very peaceful place with wonderful staff. They were very welcoming, very friendly, very helpful. We're a family of 4, from Germany, and first thought about staying closer to the Taj - but in fact the area around the Tourist Rest House is much better, and less touristy, hence no pushy street vendors etc. We're very glad we opted for the Tourist Rest House in the end. Also, ALL the attactions (not just the Taj) are within easy reach by rickshaw. Finally, the rooms come at very fair prices. The ones we had were spotlessly clean, with fine ACs. There's a beautiful courtyard garden to sit and have a veey nice meal and drinks. During our stay, it was neve crowded or noisy. Highly, highly recommended!
