Dax has been a wonderful host, he gave us good suggestions for Kochi but also for our next stops. He sat with us during breakfast and told us about Kochi, the culture and various anecdotes.

I stayed at Terrance Dale for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and had a very homely vibe. The host( Dax )was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Located in the heart of Fort Kochi, it was easy to explore the area. I would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the city!

I am so glad I found this little gem. The host was incredible. Welcomed us with a great big smile in the middle of the night. Communication prior was excellent, Dax had arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport. We had everything we needed in the spacious and spotless room. Even toothpaste! Dax really thoughts of everything. Good wifi. Excellent recommendations for local restaurants (plenty of them). And also excellent advice for what to see and do in the area. Excellent location. Dax knows the area inside out and had lots of interesting facts to share with us. Delicious traditional Kerala breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend!

Can't think of anything

Where shall we start? The breakfast with very nice home cooked food and the nice talks with Dax and family. The advice on how to get about in Cochin. The nicely decorated villa and room. Very good location with the main entrance on KB Jacob Road. This also means easy access towards the coast and almost straight line to the centre of cochin. Dax has been waiting and accommodating us at late hour arrival - with patience, good vibes and a tasty water melon juice. The room is very comfortable - and the candies provided are a delight.

The stay is well appointed, ultra clean, spacious and very comfortable. The host Dax and his wife were lovely, we enjoyed the chats during breakfast and getting a download of places to visit and the local culture.

Everything. From the moment after a 26 hour journey - it was perfect. The room was spotless and everything had been thought of. Most importantly - our hosts Dax and Dina were incredible. As was Dax’s friend who joined us at breakfasts (which were also excellent and so tasty). This was an experience - we learnt about local culture and experience. Suggestions on places to go and restaurants / local dishes. They helped us find a tailor (who was excellent), even gave us a lift there, arranged money to be exchanged. Nothing was too much. We booked because of the excellent reviews- trust me they are so well deserved. So glad we did not go for a soul less resort.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Dax and Diana's lovely properly. The room was very aesthetically done up and very well maintained. The hosts were super gracious with their support, inputs on sightseeing/restaurants aa well as the delicious breakfast that Diana put together for us. Looking forward to coming back to their property once again! Thank you for the memories, Dax and Diana!

The property is exactly as depicted in the photos—serene, beautiful, and peaceful. The space is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The hosts are highly proactive and helpful, ensuring all requests are promptly addressed - and going out of their way to make a request I had to happen within a couple of hours. This is true service and I am deeply appreciative. The breakfast is too GOOD! The location is easy to find on Google Maps, making it convenient for visitors. Overall, this is an excellent destination, and I look forward to visiting again.

We really appreciated our stay in this homestay... The room is charged with the charme of the old time atmosphere, plenty of small delightful details in the furniture and arrangements. Super clean. The hosts, Dex and Diana, make you feel really at home. Warm welcome, juicy breakfast with plenty of choice. Dex is incredibly helpful, arranging a beautiful tour in the backwaters and plenty of good advice on local restaurants and things to do. Top experience, I'm already dreaming of coming back! The address is very central in Fort Kochi, you can easily walk to all points of interest.

Stayed at this homestay and absolutely loved it! It felt so cozy and comfortable, just like home. The food was amazing, everything was super clean, and the vibe was super friendly and welcoming. They even had little extras that made things easier. Totally recommend it if you’re looking for a chill and homely place to stay!

This is more of a one to watch for future guests rather than a negative as its nature! But there were a lot of mosquitos at the entrance to the property so bring bug spray!

Our bedroom decor was absolutely stunning. The bedroom was like you were in a 5* hotel but at incredibly cheap prices. They even had tea and snacks for you to help yourselves to! The shower had very good pressure and was reliably warm (which we found a rarity during our time in India!). The host family were so welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious. Definitely the best place we have stayed in in India, and by far one of the cheapest.

- Entrance hard to find the first time. Google maps points to the wrong street. Entrance is at the KB Jacob Rd. Maybe good to put up a sign. - Many mosquitos (but hosts are doing everything to keep them outside of the rooms).

- Tasty traditional Kerala breakfast but possibility to change to continental breakfast. - Quick response from hosts on messages. - Big room with fridge. - Complementary water. - Travel tips and support from the hosts. - Traditional washing place nearby. They delivered an excellent job. - All highlights of Fort Kochi on walking distance.

If you are looking for Home stay in Fort Cochin, then I would definitely recommend Terance Dale. Dax and his family are an amazing host and you would be delighted by their hospitality ! Rooms are absolutely clean and even better than most of the hotel rooms. Really appreciate the special care they have shown towards our little one !
