Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaA Magical Haveli Stay in the Heart of Bikaner Our stay at this beautiful haveli was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported to a bygone era of royal elegance and charm. The architecture is breathtaking — intricate jharokhas, carved doorways, and vibrant frescoes that tell stories of Bikaner’s glorious past. Every corner feels like a living piece of history, yet the rooms are thoughtfully equipped with all modern comforts. The hospitality was truly heartwarming. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, greeting us with warm smiles and serving delicious Rajasthani cuisine that was rich in flavor and tradition. Sipping chai in the serene courtyard while listening to the soft notes of traditional music was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend this haveli to anyone visiting Bikaner — whether you’re a history lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a peaceful retreat. Staying here is not just accommodation, it’s an experience that immerses you in the culture, warmth, and beauty of this historic city. If you want to truly feel the soul of Bikaner, don’t miss this gem of a place.

AustriaAs a solo traveler i was very lucky to stay at Tanisha Heritage Haweli...the building is amazing according to the traditional architecture and decoration..very lively and pleasant ..it develops on many levels with many interesting viewpoints and many beautiful plants and flowers and places to rest.... everything is very clean and fresh despite the hot weather of Bikaner at that time i was there. Manisha the owner's wife is an amazing person, very good cook and became family to me...she was taking care of me as a sister and also she invited me to a journey to their special Temple, with other family members...so i acquired a family in india and was able to see up close the traditions and bonds of the indian family...Mr Anil is a very kind man , very warm hearted and very good willing too...their daughter Tanisha is so kid ,beautiful girl and she is going to expand the hospitality business...i wish her all the best and im sure she will achieve the best.. My family of Bikaner thank you very much for all your care and hope to return soon to the hospitable byenvironment of Tanisha Heritage Haweli accommodation!!!

Thank you so much for having us ❤️ The family that owns the haveli and the host is wonderful and can't do enough to make your stay super special, including food, drinks, tuktuks to see the walled city.

The owner of the hotel was very helpful for all questions and organised Tuk tuks for us. The fantastic dinner was for all guests together in a nice dining room. The hotel is in the Old City and tuk tuk is nessessary to reach the hotel.

Tanisha heritage, Bikaner 24th January 2025. Tanisha heritage was a very homely facility. We were early greeted by the owner who took us on a tour of the place, right up to the roof top space. Our room was on the first floor in a courtyard. In the centre of the courtyard was a family table where we took homemade breakfast and dinner. We were sat around the table with the other 4 guests and we were able to share stories of our trips, where we had been and where we were going; I really liked that. The room was quaint and quirky; very much Indian style; again a bonus. We had an ensuite with hot water for the shower and plenty of fluffy towels. I would definitely recommend this place to all adventurous travellers. I'm not sure if they had ground floor rooms for people with physical disabilities but one could always contact the property direct

IndiaLocation little bit inside
A well decorated hotel run by a family. Specially the lady owner is very polite and helpful.. They happily allowed early check in at 6,15am without any extra charge.. Bathroom very neat and clean and hot water available from the geyser.Food is economical and delicious.complementary breakfast is limited menu but it is ok as per price of room Room is not spacious but small cabinet provided for keeping luggage. Situated in a narrow lane 2km from station.. Large sitting area in 2nd floor. Only disadvantage is that you have to carry luggage upstairs through a very narrow staircase but feel is like a Havelli....

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike. It was perfect.
The haveli is beautiful, and the family who own it, likewise. From the moment I arrived, they made me so welcome, and treated me like family. Manisha cooks delicious food, which of course is much nicer (and safer) than eating at outside restaurants. Anil arranged dental appointments for me, and accompanied me each time. They were always on hand to give information and advice. Their daughter Tanisha is delightful, and I enjoyed our daily chats. They all speak very good English. The family invited me to go along with them to a wedding anniversary function, where I became immersed in local culture. The cleaning staff always had a smile, and one of them even cleaned my dirty sandals. I left in the early morning to catch a train; Anil arranged the rickshaw, and woke Manisha so she could wish me farewell with a warm hug. Altogether I had a wonderful stay, and have nothing negative to say about it.
