The hotel does feel a little dated. Especially the bathrooms and toilets need a major overhaul.

The staff went out of the way for all our needs. Especially like to mention Titus who helped us make the most of each day with perfectly curated itinerary. Lakshmikant made sure our dietary needs are taken care of everyday.

The price of roomd

I think the price was too expensive. Property also charged us different rates for each day. I wonde why. Too pricey for a heritage Property like Taj savoy. Although staff and cleanliness was good we may not chose it again as it was way expensive for a day and overall 3 night stay costed us over SGD 5000 almost good bought to make a trip to Switzerland

A bigger area needed for cycle riding

Property is excellent. Worth paying money. The location is also good. Quite near to the main centre. Food was really good.

The staff were amazing. We were travelling by train and they arranged a driver to collect us even having to change the station of collection on the day. (Anthony was a great driver given the trip to Ooty is full of hair pin bends, and he took us on our tour of Ooty the following day). Raj Kumar in the bar was very attentive and lovely to talk to of an evening. Also the bingo around the campfire at night was a nice touch and the member of staff who ran it was the perfect host. The hotel made our stay in Ooty very special

Pretty much all rooms have no substantial windows (or no windows at all), and overall value for money, given the 30k price point, is extremely poor

The hotel is fairly well looked after, and the on-board restaurant serves excellent food. Staff have done everything they can to help and assist. The WiFi signal was strong throughout. Hot water pressure was sufficient, and beds comfortable and clean.

The breakfast cost is much too high and not proportional and there is no alternative

The overall is positive the room was big enough and the garden is well maintained. It is located 2 km from the city but there is no pedestrian way

The dining room had no windows but the food was delicious.

Beautiful gardens, very evocative of the Colonial era. Lovely drinks served on the lawn and fire at night. All the staff were delightful.

Lack of breakfast package.

Our Stay at the Savoy was pleasant and comfortable. Since it is a heritage hotel, they cannot do a major upgrade . Lacks some creature comforts and plushness associated. Very avergae spa and gym. Rates are rather high for this kind of property without any breakfast.

The ambience was tranquil with flowers and trees all around, best thing were the activities that we could do there , and indubitably the property was maintained really well which makes Savoy top notch and the stay a truly unique experience .

There is only one restaurant and it makes it difficult to get a table some times.. also the options to choose from the menu are very limited. The lounge/bar is very sad and not inviting at all

The greenery and the beautiful flowers make the property very pleasant.. the lawns and open spaces, the bonfire at night. The staff is very courteous. Niaomi from the restaurant was extremely pleasant to interact with, always had a smile on her face and was very prompt all the time.

I feel like the food options especially during lunch and dinner were not good enough, just bland taste and below average. It wasn't good in terms of food taste benchmark.

Wifi was great, breakfast had diverse choice to pick from, surroundings was really pleasant and the hotel arena was well maintained. There are some lovely cats that you can take pictures with too.
