Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Mr
IndiaI personally felt that a bit of discrimination or lack of attention to us from the staff , maybe they were busy with other guests except the room attendant. They were very polite and respectful all the time. I didn't feel like spending time with this property again since the property did not deliver an expected service. I didn't find any reason to return back to this property. I went to the bar one evening , there were only a few guests and we didn't get the attention as expected. Since I am working for the Hospitality industry my expectations were up to that standard level.
The room and facilities were up to the expectation.

United StatesI love the Taj hotel chain and brand. Our room was very comfortable and always clean. The bed was super soft and always made well. The one thing I would like to share is that there was a musty smell in the rooms. That smell made it hard at times. There is a musty, moldy smell in the rooms. I don't know if they are coming from the AC vents or the spraying in the hallways of the anti-virus/mosquito repellants. Either way, there should be some maintenance, so the rooms don't have that smell.
The breakfast was excellent with so much variety. The staff were always so attentive and friendly. The Taj restaurant staff, front desk staff and the cleaning staff, were so great. The hospitality at the Taj is unparalleled.

IndiaAlright, starting with the staff/reception, then rooms, and finally breakfast. At check-in, the welcome staff felt really rushed. While I appreciate the thought behind the welcome ritual, the way it was handled wasn’t great — the staff member jumped in and did it while I was mid-conversation with the person checking me in. It honestly felt like she just wanted to tick a box. If that’s the case, it’s probably better to skip the ritual altogether. A little patience and attention would have made a much better impression. Now about the rooms — they were tiny (something I had already flagged), and I definitely would’ve preferred a bit more space. But size aside, the bigger issue was cleanliness. It just wasn’t up to the Taj standard. We found breadcrumbs on the carpet — clearly from the previous guest — and the carpet itself had stains all over it. Not a great first impression. The AC was another headache — it had a minimum setting of 19.5°C (confirmed by the technician), which is pretty ridiculous considering it was late April and really hot outside. Every time we left the room, it would heat up and then take hours to cool down again. We did call maintenance, but no real help there either. Also, the TV setup was super basic — no Netflix, no YouTube, and no option to connect your own account. Honestly, even budget hotels have that now. Finally, breakfast — definitely make sure you get a table in the main restaurant. On our first morning (Sunday), because of the crowd, we ended up in the extension area across from the reception. Big mistake. The vibe was dull, and the food options were pretty limited. We had no idea the main restaurant had so much more to offer. Thankfully, on Monday, we got to have breakfast in the main area — and wow, what a difference! The spread was way better and the whole experience just felt much more lively.
We stayed for two days at Taj Krishna over a weekend. Let’s start with the rooms, breakfast, and the hotel facilities (gym, swimming pool, walking lawns). The rooms were honestly pretty small for the price you pay — I definitely would have preferred a bigger one. That said, the view from the room was nice — we faced the lawns, pool, and even caught glimpses of the beautiful Hussainsagar Lake (though not a full view, probably because of the floor we were on). Breakfast was a strong point. The spread was excellent, and pretty much everything we tried was spot-on and delicious. Plus, the breakfast staff were super quick, responsive, and accommodating — whether it was packing some fruits to-go or handling a few special requests, they managed everything with a smile. One thing to watch out for though: make sure you have breakfast in the main restaurant area, not the extension (the one right across from reception). On Day 1 (Sunday), because it was super crowded, we were directed to the extension — and it was a letdown. Limited options, no real vibe, just dull overall. We didn’t even realize the main restaurant had a much bigger and better spread until the next day. On Monday, we finally had breakfast at the main restaurant, and the experience was so much better — both in terms of food and atmosphere. So a quick tip if you’re planning a stay at Taj Krishna: try to head down for breakfast a little early on weekends, and insist on seating in the main restaurant, not the extension. Totally worth it.

United KingdomUpdate some bedroom electrics
It’s a corner of paradise in a very busy and crowded city. Lovely gardens, superb swimming pool, exceptional staff in dining area led by Prakash and Sarath (exceptional knowledge of healthy nutrition) including the outstanding care from Fahad, Dominic, Amil and generally such a friendly and efficient team including Stella to welcome you back). Bedrooms are excellent as expected from the Taj family, though electrics could be updated. Why stay anywhere else in Hyderabad!!

United KingdomThe hotel requires updating. Polish to be used on the Polished furniture as after cleaning it appears to be sticky indicating water or damp cloth was used. Sanitaryware requires to be suitable for over 60 as difficult to grip the shower knobs when hands are soapy. Maybe the choice of restaurants, Mralthough food was a great it lacked a healthy menu.
Most things were good. Staff to food. Excelling fruit and different menu.
