Great location by the sea, listening to the waves while dining felt so relaxing. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were very cordial. They wished us bon voyage on our last dinner with a complimentary pastry.

Getting Ola or uber is difficult because of the local politics created by local taxi drivers standing in front of the resort.

Serene place. Yoga session and Ayurvedic body massages were very good. Staffs were very good and very helpful . Food was excellent. Apt place to relax.

The location, the cottages were beautifully decorated with a sea view and so tranquil and calm, morning yoga by the sea, watching the sunsets from the yoga platform, the friendly and helpful staff. They even prepared a surprise for my daughter’s birthday! We loved everything, it was just perfect! Would highly recommend a stay.

Structure is under invested, needs upgrades and fixings. It has a huge problem : on north side an horrible container port terminal has been built next to the hotel. What is bad is not only the horrible view of the terminal with all lights but also the noise of the boats and operations in the terminal.

Beautiful garden and well located between two beaches. Rooms are quite large and charming.

The hotel is clean in general but be cleaner in some areas, example dusting fan in the rooms , remove spider web, wiping the lamps, cleaning bathroom floor properly, cleaning veranda etc

The hotel is very well situated for visitors who wish take the boat trip and explore the rivers & lakes. We stayed 2 days at Niraamaya Surya which was more than enough to relax and switch off. The staffs are very welcoming and very hands on . For a staff run hotel , they do make a great effort for the guests to feel comfortable.

There really wasn’t much to do outside of the property. The trips to see the elephants and the backwaters (listed on the website)were really too far away for a day trip. Also I had booked on the assumption that there was morning and evening yoga and meditation available. The only yoga included in the booking was in the morning anything extra was charged. I also was unhappy about the amount on plastic rubbish on the beach. I noticed that the hotel next door cleaned their beach front twice a day, it was a shame that Niramaaya did not do this too.

Super location, sea view and the continuous sound of sea waves makes it extremely serene and calm. There are tall and old trees which makes the property extremely rich.

This place felt like a literal paradise on earth. From our arrival to our departure we had an amazing time. The staff were on hand to take care of our every need. We had a laugh with a few of them notably Siva who proved to be a bit of a stand up comedian! The food was exceptional and because they didn't offer any vegan desserts the chef made me a special one on our second night. It was such a calm and peaceful place. The pool was amazing. Probably one of the best places I've ever stayed.

Compared to other resorts in Kovalam, the property is a bit older. The beach, while accessible, has a good bit of litter. The phones in the room weren't working as of my stay.

Staff was very friendly, the massage was good and well-priced. Food at the on-site restaurant is tasty. Room was very spacious and clean, with great air conditioning.
