Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The way they behaved and the room is not worth of that money simple answer i can give i paid 6400 rupees INR totally waste for that room actually this is not a hotel it's like a jail they switched off the lift after 11.00pm they switched off the water after 11.30pm oopsss alot to say but i don't want to waste my time type .

All the reviews in booking.com seems fake.Think thrice before booking this hotel.They didn't admit you to enter the hotel even after a confirmed booking. They'll say rooms are full.Pure scam!

The check in process made us feel uncomfortable, there were 4 men behind the desk who were not welcoming to us at all. The bed was dirty and the plugs sockets were dangerous with wires hanging out the wall.

The room was not clean. No water bottle was provided until i had to ask for it. Morning breakfast was ok but no tea or cofeee was offered.

Everything in this hotel I didn't like it
Everything is not good, not to hotel standard, maybe hostel concept or backpackers. Bed cover with stain, after check in ask to change but still. Doesn't look clean, no mineral water, no WiFi given, paid for breakfast but breakfast will be provided after 8am, I am checking out 640am, ask for a cup coffee, they say no, this hotel good for backpackers group, not for family unless you on budget, I recommend not spoil image booking, com, and also using big brand hotel the park royal, even name online super hotel o, lift was off in morning, ask why, owner switched off, how to bring luggage down, he say wait 5min,i told him no I need now, leaving to airport now, I can't wait, then he called the owner to get on. First I experienced this, I am very disappointed with this, will I get my breakfast money refunded, I didn't like the answer given by front desk staff.

The property is in an extremely crowded and congested area. It’s not easy to find. The pictures are extremely misleading. The rooms were not clean, the bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty. The bathroom was greasy. The rooms are very tiny. The lift stopped working when we were staying there though they did get someone to repair it later. The reviews and rating look paid. Would definitely not reccomend.

They charge extra if you want to pay by card! The Room was not clean. Mosquitoes 🦟 were present in the room. It does not perfectly match as described in the booking.

Completely Misleading – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs! I had an extremely disappointing and shocking experience with this property, which is completely misrepresented on Booking.com. The location is in a very poor and unsafe area, nowhere close to what’s portrayed online. The room and facilities were utterly unhygienic, with no sense of cleanliness or basic maintenance. It’s not suitable for anyone to stay – even for an hour! What’s worse is the manipulation of reviews on Booking.com. It appears the hotel is exploiting a loophole in the review system, allowing anyone with an email address to submit reviews. They are clearly posting fake 5-star reviews in the names of supposed guests to mislead potential customers. Please be extremely cautious before booking. Don’t rely solely on Booking.com ratings – cross-verify with Google reviews and real customer feedback. It’s unacceptable how such properties continue to mislead people and waste their money and time.

This is a small property in a residential area Hotels is a functional property with all basic amenities, passable service and clean rooms. If I look at the positive aspects, rooms were clean, bathroom had hot water and the air-conditioning was very effective in the blistering heat of Chennai.
