Things that needs improvement. Rooms: 2 stars out of 5. I chose a room with balcony and paid extra for that but it seems the balcony is just namesake, impractical. The room though appeared to be clean but dated. The bathrooms are just functional, needs significant upgrade when you compare likewise other 4 star hotels. It lacked proper ventilation I guess. The bathroom fittings and showerheads needs an upgrade. Only 2 stars out or 5. Room on the first day was not upto the mark, it had some sort of smell, bathroom door wasn't closing properly. To top it all, they joined two beds to make one master bed!! I mean who does this?? There is a gap in between. Mattress is soft, not very comfortable to my liking because your body tends to sunk inside, creating sort of discomfort. But that's just me. Other might like soft beds. Upon request they initially said it's all full but later on they changed to another room (same type) on second day, may be they don't want me to have a frontside room which I think has better view and a sundeck (supposedly). I don't know about other rooms and cottages hence can't comment. Property 3 out of five. 1 point is less because it's not maintained, and 1 less is because you don't get what you have paid for! This property is very big! The main front side which is seen in the poster picture has lost it's charm. The garden or lawns are overgrown, poorly maintained . Swimming pool is okay. Property isliittle bit away from main beach. This is good and bad as well because your movements are limited to your property only. Nothing is outside. Either you need your own vehicle or get an e-auto from the gate ( 300 rs one way for 2 kms!!). Overall, the purpose is just solved as it was all about lord Jaggannath darshan for me. Else look out for better avenues at better rates. Recommended only and only if you are vegetarian and willing to overlook the nitpicking I have mentioned.

The staff is always helful, polite and go extra mile on your request. The food was amazing. Full marks for food and hospitality. Great place for vegetarians but little bit expensive (buffet could have been little bit easy on pocket). I am being generous for rating this property 7 out of 10 just because of above. Else it's just an average stay.

breakfast spread was generous although the second interior room where the staff was often trying to seat the non wedding guests, was not upto the mark, its arranged like a banquet hall, and it should be made similar to the main sitting area in the multi cuisine restaurant. the staff would often say that we would be disturbed by the wedding guests so we should sit in that interior hall/room, but instead of just pretending maybe put an effort into making that room decent for guests, it was from from enjoyable. there were also too many fruit flies in there. if its arranged in such a manner, maybe ask the wedding guests to sit there, because it had big round tables with like 7-8 chairs at each table like wedding guests would be seated.

The staff was nice, and was trying hard to care for the customers, the head chef also made ample attempt to connect with the customers. the staff helps the guests till the end until the finally leave the hotel. this was nice. all staff members have been trained well and their priorities seem clear, it is to optimize the guests' experiences.

The pathway to the beach isnt great and stinks a lot. That acts as a detterent to even go to the beach. The property is 5-6 kms away from Puri temple, and the approach road to the property is not that great.

Good quality rooms, very helpful staff. Decent beach approx 400 meters from the property. Overall, a decent property to stay at during your visit to Puri. Good swimming pool, but not temperature controlled.

The beach can be improved.

I loved the place. The staff was exceptionally nice. Especially, Lizarani & Sujata. The chef Bubbu made amazing uttapams. I loved the seaview. Thehotel services were quick.The breakfast was too good! we had dinner & lunch there too! It was great. Everything was so fresh! Everything was good from north makhni to south food dosa& idli. I loved the cupcakes. So fresh. They have the BEST FOOD IN PURI ! The restaurant UTKAL is amazing. I even liked the manchurian😍😍😍🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰Thank you to the staff. Thank you Lizarani &chef🤗🤗My parents were very happy &satisfied with the dinner.

There is access to a public beach which unfortunately was overrun with litter and detritus. Furthermore to access the beach one has to cross a river of sewage via a rickety bridge. With an onshore wind the smell did pervade the hotel.

Although the hotel has seen better days, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were excellent, especially so in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble.

Bathrooms were not cleaned, you have to ask for towels, sofa bed are not comfortable, microwave oven is not safe to use, travel desk is one of biggest low point… they sent 13 seater for us without giving destination instructions and driver asked me for direction where I am first timer in Odisa.
