Everything about this place is exceptional.. we stayed here for the 3rd time.. season or off season.. it's the same every time.. access to the beach and their inhouse restaurant food is just to vouch for!

Not impressed with the selection at breakfast so settled with fresh made scrambled eggs every day. Would have liked sourdough bread for toasting. Nice location outdoors but many flies unfortunately. Had to sit on a hardback chair 2 days near the pool because all the sun loungers were reserved by 7.30 am however some towels sat there for several hours with no guests returning. Therefore on day 3, I was forced to go to the beach to get a comfortable seat, not ideal as a solo traveler.

Breakfast buffet was varied, good quality food and service. Location was excellent (off the main noisy strip, 3 minute walk to it) and private beach and beach shacks access. All the staff were excellent.

The telephone calls to remind us what time breakfast finished - we already knew! And the cleaner, who although he was very good at his job and very pleasant, ringing the doorbell habitually to see if we needed anything - even at 8.45am when we were asleep!

Because it's set about 500m off the main roaf there aren't always taxis available so you have to walk up to the main road to find one, which in the daytime is fine, at night it's a bit dark but safe.

This was our third visit to this hotel, we like it as it is a little peaceful oasis, lovely gardens and pool and only 50 meteres from the beach. The staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you.

Gym was mouldy smelling and had obviously leaked or flooded. Was quite off putting. Aircon in restaurant was a bit too cold but staff were helpful and nice.

Bed linen and towels need to be upgraded and pillows replaced

It was quiet being the end of the monsoon. The pool area is great and well maintained. The restaurant is good. We had a balcony room away from the pool giving us a nice private place. Staff were helpful and friendly

The linen in the room was very tired and a bit thread bare. But clean. Pillows need to be replaced as sweat stained inside.

The hotel had very nice facilities and grounds with a big quiet pool area. A short walk to the beach but as we were at the end of monsoon swimming was not permitted. Beach shacks closed but starting to open up. Restaurant was good and provided a good range of food Staff very friendly, polite and helpful.
