Sheeba is a caring and easy going person. The facilities were in really good condition. Good location for exploring fort kochi.

I ended a month-long solo trip at Sheeba's and it was a great place to do so. Felt very comfortable in the room and overall clean space. Truly feels like you are at home. WiFi is available, water is provided and Sheeba makes a delicious breakfast each morning. I also appreciate her kindness is giving advice for travel plans. As a solo woman traveler, the venue and her help made me feel very safe. The property is in a peaceful area, with lots of greenery, but also very close walking distance to the main beachfront, as well as the bus stand, water metro and ferry jetties. Lots of small supply shops and good restaurants nearby.

Everything was as expected

The room had two separate twin beds an ensuite bathroom (cold water shower) a high speed fan and the added option of air con, which we made full use of for 300INR per night.

Loved the location and warmth of hosts, large rooms, nice balcony and a lovely breakfast. Sheeba also let us leave our bags on the last day which was so helpful.

A wonderful stay in Sheeba’s home! She’s such a lovely host and the room was very sufficient. Paid a bit more for A/C as I wasn’t able to do without in the heat and it was worth it. Breakfast was really nice and a highlight. Would book again.

Breakfast was kind of basic… Chapati and fried egg with chai. The bathroom was a bit tight with the shower (open) very close to the toilet which made it a bit uncomfortable.

The best things about this place were the location and the host. The place is close to the main attractions of the city, and Sheeba is very helpful and nice 🙂

The place is close to a major street so it can be noisy. But I suppose that is the case with many homestays in Fort Kochi

Sheeba’s homestay was my partner and I’s first stop on our travelling journey in India. Sheeba was a perfect host, she was very kind and helpful when we had any questions. She cooked and served a different breakfast every morning, all of which were so tasty. The room was a good size, and decent size washroom too. Everything was clean and well presented when we arrived. The location was great, walking distance to fort kochi beach and easy access to the ferry when we needed it (again only walking distance)

Not their fault but there are lots of mosquitoes around. They have tried to keep them out with screen doors and screens on the windows.

Great location, walking distance to many tourist places & restaurants. Good air con (have to pay a little extra for the air con).

Many mosquitos in room but mosquito net provided All areas that are made to be used are super clean, areas like i.e. on top of the bathroom cupboard could be a little more clean.

You should be aware of that the facilities are basic.

Great host who even held a cooking class for me alone although she normally only does it for groups. Central location. Nothing fancy, but wholesome and well kept.

Clean and in a cute neighborhood in fort kochi. We arrived really late (11p) and Sheeba was so accomodating. She even came out of the house to greet us. Breakfast is a homely affair. Simple and Delicious.

We had to check what our accommodation consisted of, as the description was misleading.

Sheba was a wonderful host, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed meeting her family and chatting with other guests over breakfast. Our downstairs room was simple but very clean and had everything we needed. The location was peaceful and convenient. Very good value for money.
