The only downside was that some noise could be heard from the door at night on the reception desk, but overall we had a great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, just a short ride from the train station, and the place itself is beautiful. The rooms are big, very comfortable, and spotless. What made it extra special was the amazing service, especially from Shyam, who helped us with everything we needed. He was so kind and professional, which made our stay even better.

Aesthetically renovated heritage building. High ceilings. Quiet rooms. Comfortable bed. Crisp white bed linen. Good bathroom. Soft ,white and fresh bath linen. Good wi-fi speed. Friendly staff. Great vibe to the place.

It is very convenient if you look for a place near the airport or in ernakulam city centre, but bear in mind it is 15mins by car from kochi and 2h from Alapuzzah, where most of backwater boats start

The place is very cozy and traditional, with a large room and a very nice fully equipped bathroom plenty of natural light from the beautiful view windows. Staff really took care of every detail and all our needs.

Everything about this stay has been amazing!! If you visit Cochin then here is a MUST! Rahul the front of house manager is exceptional, helping with all my needs, train time tables, taxis, flights.. he really went out of his way to help! All the staff are polite and professional. The location in Cochin is fantastic, right off the famous MG road. My room was spacious, clean, bright, quality bed/ mattress and wardrobe! The bathroom was clean and modern! The communal areas were a joy to walk through and relax in, stylish with traditional Indian vibes. Such a perfect stay! I would definitely recommend it, and stay again for sure!!

I was carrying very less INR as was suppose to stay only for a day. They didn't hv card payment facility so paying cash was an issue. Kitchen has not started so we don't get Bf. Advice a small fridge in the room .

Personally i like Heritage properties. This property was up to my expectations. Extremely clean , peaceful, beautiful ambience. Staff very helpful friendly , cooperative.

This was by far the fanciest (but definitely not priciest) accommodation I had in my 3 month stay in India. This place could easily have 4 or 5 star rating. It’s tucked away in a very busy area but it’s very quiet. It was open barely a few weeks ago and looks like a beautiful villa, very tastefully furnished, full of plants and impeccably kept. The rooms are very tasteful with all the amenities a high end hotel can offer. To say it’s good value for money would be an understatement. The same price can get you an average homestay in fort kochi (mine had ants and no back up generator). The area is far from the tourist attractions but definitely feels more genuine and has way better and more plentiful food options around (check out Milano ice cream). I stayed in fort kochi for a couple of days and by far prefer Ernakulam, as it lacks the overpriced and average restaurants that target tourists that are everywhere in fort. I cannot say anything about food offered by the hotel because they didn’t offer it yet when I was there, but they will in a couple of weeks. I’m sure that it will be great though and will make this hotel a real gem.

There is nothing I can find fault with! Perhaps better external signage so the taxi drivers can find it more easily as it is tucked away off a side street - and maybe that they could open a lovely restaurant inside (no food is served but they are happy for you to order in) - but that’s picking nits - the whole experience was fantastic! I am sure if the owners were to open a restaurant it would be absolutely exquisite like everything else they do!

What a gorgeous property… completely unexpected, nestled behind an extremely busy central street, is this oasis of charm and character. The staff are extremely courteous and I felt very safe and well looked after. I was honoured to be one of the first international guests to this newly renovated hotel that suited my needs perfectly - centrally located yet classically Kerala-esque and elegant in design - by far my preference over modern-style accommodations. Despite the busy neighbourhood the room was quiet and you could almost forget the city location based on the interior calm. Highly recommend and will certainly stay again when visiting the area.

I booked the place for my parents. There was no power at the premises. Even after continuous reminders the staff was not taking it seriously. It hot in kochi. Imagine having to spend the night without any air conditioning or fan.

I stayed at Sarada Mandiram with a couple of friends, and we all fell in love with the place. It’s a beautifully restored heritage home that instantly makes you feel at ease. The architecture, the wooden details, and the peaceful atmosphere gave our trip a unique charm that hotels rarely offer. Our rooms were spacious, super clean, and really comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Kochi. Even though it’s located right in the heart of the city, the hotel itself is incredibly quiet and serene. We loved how easy it was to get around from there. What stood out the most was the genuine warmth of the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, whether we needed recommendations, help with transport, or just a nice conversation. It felt more like staying with family than in a hotel. If you’re planning a trip with friends and want a place that’s comfortable, full of character, and welcoming, Sarada Mandiram is a gem. We left with beautiful memories—and we’d 100% stay here again!
