The pool was out of action and although the rooftop restaurant was pleasant it was quite empty and lacked atmosphere. The staff were very friendly.

The location , price and spa facilities . I had a wonderful massage with hot oil pads , just great for aching muscles after walking .

Nothing- I was very pleased with my choice of hotel in Kochi. I guess it’s a taxi or tuk tuk ride away from the main tourist areas of Kochi, but this enhanced the appeal of the hotel for me.

Staff welcoming and helpful during my stay. Exceptionally well-appointed room which was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Ayurvedic treatments in hotel Spa were amazing and great value for money- I can definitely recommend these. Restaurant staff friendly and helpful. All in all I would rate this as an excellent small hotel that exudes calm, and is the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of daily life!!

The place was spotless and very well maintained. Everyone we interacted with was not only friendly but truly helpful. Communication was excellent quick, clear, and professional. The location was great too, with plenty of shops and amenities nearby. The room was beautiful and had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay.

I have probably been to Retrieve around 10 plus times now honestly, i have lost count. Every time i am in Cochin, this is where I land, whether it’s for work or just some quiet time. There’s something about the vibe here. calm, simple, and kind of comforting. The rooftop cafe is a favourite of mine, and the spa is a nice bonus when I need to relax. Solo or with family, it just works. Feels like a little pocket of peace in the middle of the city.

Stayed here for 12 nights and had an amazing experience. Staffs were incredibly welcoming and kind. Loved the beautifully designed cafe' at the roof top - calm ambience and absolutely delicious meals, especially the breakfast. Really appreciated how they remembered our preferences. Spa services were excellent too. Would love to visit again.

The room was amazing, I think I fell in love with the shower! It was comfortable and cozy, I could enjoy the city and come back to have the nicest sleep ever, we could easily fit both of us starfishing without even touching! The employees, even if shy, were very sweet to me, and I loved the café on top of the hotel! I would love to come back next time I visit Kochi!

We booked 2 rooms, WiFi on 2nd floor room (nobility) was extremely poor. Need to step out of the room to access WiFi. Room service meals cost the same as the restaurant itself but the portions are much lesser. (Ordered South Indian filter coffee in both restaurant and room service, only half mug served for room service, and in restaurant it was a full mug). Proximity to shopping areas is a little distant, needs Uber/ Auto to go to those areas.

Second time staying here. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Has a pleasant atmosphere and a good calming fragrance throughout the hotel. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Water pressure was excellent and washroom is very clean.

It would be great to have a café or separate kitchen that serves a variety of local dishes, as the current café offers only continental options. Providing a dental kit and a notepad with pen in the room would also be a nice touch.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—were cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The spa center was a highlight, offering professional Ayurvedic massages that left me feeling completely relaxed.

Unfortunately, the only thing that ruined our stay here was the strong smell of mould. Our first room had mould all over the ceiling in the bathroom, and the second room smelt badly of it, although you could not see it.

This place is a total gem in Kochi. For the money we paid, and the facilities it was amazing. The rooms are roomy although our bathroom was small, we moved to a different room and had a much larger bathroom. The pool was a great reprieve from the city and the staff were all really nice.

1. truly excellent service - friendly, very helpful and kind. They help you with whatever they can, going an extra mile to keep guests happy. I was a single female traveller and the stuff including the General Manager went out of their way to make extra sure that I feel safe. 2. We had a one-night stay in here after a long day of travelling. I don't think I had a better sleep in years, the rooms were clean and the beds super comfy! The staff were very attentive and helpful. Shoutout to the chef at the restaurant upstairs who made us some fabulous drinks and was very friendly!
