It can be more clean. Under the furniture, it was dusty and gross, i know cause my jewelry fell off the bed. It was gross to retrieve it back.

The location was fantastic and room quite spacious for three people.

A few things... 1. The bathroom ceiling has panel gaps which is not very confidence inspiring, especially when travelling with women (with all the news of hidden cameras being placed here and there). I plugged a the gaps with tissues and made a prayer to the almighty before deciding the use the loo. 2. The font desk staff were scruffy looking and unkempt most of times I walked past them. A little grooming would go a long way (but maybe I'm asking for a bit much). That being said, they're courteous and pleasant when approached. 3. The in-room mini fridge needs to be changed. I did read other reviews mentioning this too, but wasn't sure. But the fridge indeed is ancient!! 4. The room thermostat has a mind of its own. It has an obsession with the number 23 (probably a Jordan fan). It would just not permit us to set the temperature to anything else and end up at that special number 23.

1. Hotel is located in the best possible position in Colaba. You have easy (walking) access to nearby hotspots like Causeway, Bademiyaan, Bagdadi, Gokul Bar, Taj and Gateway of India. Restaurants like Smokehouse Deli and Social are right around the corner. 2. We booked the Deluxe room. This was clean and tidy, albeit with a very slight musty smell. Probably owing to its proximity to the shoreline. But that doesn't in anyway hamper the comfort within the room. You have ample storage space along with a decent sized wardrobe. Each floor has an attendant who is prompt enough to cater to your requests. 3. Parking is a big plus here. Most hotels in the area(including the Taj) do not have their own parking space and resort to parking on the surrounding streets. Here, the hotel darbaan takes care of this really well. Big thumbs up!! Please note that there is limited availability, so ensure to check with the hotel before you drive down.

The bathroom ceiling was very old and kinda falling apart, you could hear the plumbing every time you opened a tap. Was fine, but maybe something they could work on.

The hotel is in a great location! Super close to all restaurants, bars, the Gateway of India and Khala Goda. If what you are looking for is a short walk to all attractions this is it!

the location of the hotel is the best. Nearby Starbucks, Loepold Cafe and others help to find easy breakfast, lunch and dinner. walking distance to Gateway of India and the Taj.

Everything is bad, there are insects, and the service is terrible, especially from all the reception staff. They don’t take the payment at the beginning so they can charge more than what is due on the last day. Even the breakfast is very bad.
