A little noisy from other guests/corridor when I was there thought I slept fine. I could not get hot water working during my stay.

The hotel is a well run business hotel in an ideal location by the train station. I stayed for one night after riding the railway from Ooty, for which the hotel was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had TV, kettle and tea/coffee. Breakfast buffet was excellent and restaurant staff very helpful. Wifi also excellent.

Wifi was a little intermittent but generally worked ok nearer the router in the corridor.

Very well located for the railway station and the town. Staff were friendly and efficient. The shower worked well and the bed was large and comfortable. We had a lovely dinner on the roof and the food was excellent.

I have to think. The room rent in Booking.com said it excluded the tax and showed me an amount but that is not the one I paid. Although a little setback, it's worth the value for Money

1. They charged for a double room and all amenities were only single... one tooth brush.... one key card....one towel etc... 2. I don't know if the hotel should make their rules for guests than themselves... Anything we ask like a spare key card the reply is " Sorry sir it is our rule"

This is very much a business hotel which lacks character, although it was very comfortable and had every amenity needed. As a solo traveller wanting to explore the city, it was not an ideal location, and although the staff were very polite, there was not a friendly feel. If you are after a business style hotel close to the station, then this will suit you perfectly. If you are after a friendly hotel with access to tourist spots then this is not an ideal choice.

The location was very close to the train station. The breakfast selection was varied. The rooms were large and clean, with a TV and hot water.

Everything was great until I closed the bathroom door and saw what appeared to be black mold on the back of the door. I wouldn't hang anything on the back of the door with it looking like that! Based on the overall poor condition of the bathroom door, I would say it's time for replacement. Also, not a complaint about the hotel, but if you are planning to walk to the train station from there, although it's a short walk, there are no sidewalks and the dirt shoulder means you'll have to carry you bag or risk being hit by a car on the way there. It's a very busy road!

I booked this hotel primarily because it was close to the train station and I was just staying in town so that I could catch a train to Kochi the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised by the entry and lobby - very classy! The hotel room was also very nice - well laid out and comfortable. I had both dinner and breakfast in the ground floor dining room. Buffets were offered at both. I ordered from the menu for dinner as nothing on the buffet appealed to me. My food was good. Breakfast had no Western options except bread, fruit and corn flakes so I had some of the Indian items - which were plentiful. The coffee was good and service was very friendly.
