Wish there was an elevator. Rahul and his staff helped in the transition from lift to steps.

After a rocky start and a change of rooms due to cleanliness issues we had a nice stay at Rahuls, electing to stay on extra night. It is in the back streets about 10 mins walk to the start of the main ghats but with a great view of the Ganges and quiet. Some rooms are rather old and others have been renovated. We had a fully renovated bathroom in our 2nd room with fantastic shower and very clean.

There was issues with the WiFi whilst I stayed, it wasn't the guest house's fault but it was annoying.

Staff were lovely and accommodating. The restaurant serves good food for cheap prices. It's a 10 minute walk to the Assi Ghat and there's local shops nearby. There is hot showers. Overall had a lovely time here and would come back.

Near to Assi Ghat, the hotel is in a very peaceful location. It is perfect for meditation or just relaxing. I was warmly welcomed by the staff when I arrived. The room was large and ready for my arrival. Check in was very easy. The room had a great view of the Ganges and is great to watch the sun rise. After midday the balcony is in the shade so you can be comfortable sitting without becoming too hot. The rooftop restaurant is half covered so you can sit there without suffering from the sun or the rain. The view from here is amazing. The restaurant has a good sized menu and the quality of the food is very good and good value. There are also many excellent cafes and restaurants around the Assi Ghat area, within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner is always after money and the food at this stay is very costly with very small in quantity. The location is very far from famous temples we cannot get any bikes and autos properly.

There is no transport mode available from the property. Also, it's a typical residency area whereas tourists feel uncomfortable. Otherwise the property was okay - the owner was also nice.

Property owner charged extra money which shown in booking.com. online it was showing 1250 but property owner charged 1400. Booking.com should look into this .

Air conditioning systems were outdated and very noisy or didn’t produce cold air. We had to move rooms because of it, but the second room was unfortunately quite dirty and the water pressure in the shower was very poor. We felt overcharged for facilities that didn’t work. Overall, it’s really in need of some major upgrades and TLC.

Great location with beautiful Ganga views and a sweet garden. Rahul was a kind person and wanted to help us. Quiet spot away from the noise of the city, but also walking distance from restaurants and the ghats.

The place was too far from all the centres of attraction. Better to book at godowliya chock. There were too many mosquito outside house . You can't even open the door at night. The room wasn't clean. Hot water was not working half of the time... It was not value for money.. half of the money will go in traveling only.

The property is over priced, we stayed in few other properties as well during our stay in Banaras which were much more comfortable with less price, we chose this property for new year thinking it’s going to give us some nice view and services, but the stay was no where close to what they are claiming, rooms where average and dirty, on the new year they didn’t even plan for a bonfire although 3-4 guest along with us requested for that they said this year we do not have many guest so won’t be doing that however we thought we will spend and celebrate on their roof top restaurant which they said would be open till 2 but after reaching there again 11 pm the property owner was drinking with his friends, they said us that you can order whatever you want by directly going to the kitchen and telling the cook, while I was checking the menu the cook came and closed the menu saying “nothing is available” basically he wanted to end his day so was in a hurry then they only gave us what was available we had dinner and went Back to our rooms, we also asked them if they can arrange a decoration inside our room, they said yes and charged us 1000/- after going back to room the decoration was not even worth 200/-, we know that it is some extra services that we requested but we didn’t request this to the property upfront they were already having decoration at their property and we asked if they can do it in our room as well, later the next day they started asking 500 more for the declaration which we were already not satisfied with, on the night of new years when the property owners were drinking at the rooftop I went there to ask for an extra blanket as it was very cold and but they were not even bothered to listen to our request and denied.

Only the location of the property is nice you get a view of the Ganga river at the far but not reachable
