The duplex alloted was not convenient. The bathroom was downstairs while bedroom was upstairs.Again cupboard was downstairs . The raised entrance to room and bathroom required some efforts to enter . Open bathroom was okay but what when you stare at a mongoose or large insect. Hot water was a challenge. Hot water buckets were to be called . Boiler should be on always at a higher temperature

The outdoor bathroom and the approach road is a bit narrow.

The location was excellent, the rooms had a good antique, rustic vibe. The staff was courteous and the food was good value for money.

Approach road is so narrow. Breakfast was mediocre.

Location and location. Right on the lake and if you take lake view rooms it’s a different feel. Good staff service. Very helpful in arranging tuk tuks.

The apartments could have been more cleaner.

The location was great along the backwaters and in proximity of Alleppey (10mins drive), the staff and service was excellent, rooms with open bathroom areas were fantastic. The massage services were top notch and best out there. Nothing much to complain.

There were lot of Mosquitoes..

The food here is great, and I enjoyed the Ayurvedic spa treatments which was very refreshing. Also, both the hotel staff and the spa staff were very attentive and helpful.

Nets against insects in the windows would have been great.

The room was really nice. The Resort is at the calm side next to the see. The pool is warm and clean. Service was really good.

Amazing and easy check in. It's a lovely resort, incredibly clean rooms (except the hideous bathroom). Comprehensive compendium except no restaurant menu or spa menu. I went online to see the restaurant menu and was greeted by mixed reviews, so I gave it a miss. An in room menu would have persuaded me to go for dinner. No spa menu either, so I didn't bother with that. They missed opportunities to make more $. They went to arrange a car for me to my next resort but the ride cost 3x Uber and was the same price as accommodation- not their facility but it left a final bad taste as I walked out of the resort. Do something about your bathrooms, they are hideous and detract from the gorgeous rooms. Shitty wooden shelving under the sink, wooden rubbish boxes that don't work with torn bags in them, toilet roll holders that break, ages for hot water to come through, is it garden, stone, slate, wood panelling? I mean, just pick one design! Staff were great and always say hello. Pool was lovely. Great location and lovely setting, just missing a little class to make it amazing.

The bar service was till 10.pm. I ordered by 9.30 to my room and they said couldn’t deliver. Requested by 9.50 in the reception and got it. Service should be improved

The amount that was shown to me from the app was 11K, but the total amount for stay exceeded to 13K, since this was not based on the expectation, we had to foresee and replan for the new amount.

Lovely hotel on the banks of the lake, we spent a few nights in the hotel and rented one of the house boats at the hotel for 4 nights. A nice mix for a weeks holiday.

Just a few things: a broken chair at the pool that should be removed, bird droppings on poolside should be scrubbed off. Hotel advertises having a spa but we never saw it. Room where we had yoga was very hot; no AC.

It was beautiful and mostly well- maintained. Staff were polite and attentive . Restaurant was good. Room with lakeside view was great! Room had fridge as well

The dosa station was leanly staffed. The same chef made the dosas and coffee, so we waited in line for a long time. You should put one person incharge of the dosa station, and another one to be made incharge of the coffee station. I had to wait a long time for both.

Nice selection to choose from. I liked all the South Indian foods. The sausages looked weird to my son.

Our room was a little far away from everything else, and a little dark, so we had to keep the lights on ever during the day. Not a big problem though, considering all the good things.

The resort is Amazon. Peaceful and beautifully located with lake view from almost everywhere. The staff were so nice and friendly. We did the Ayurveda massage and came out refreshed. Loved every moment there

The staff weren’t the most helpful and I had to ask a lot of basic questions. I found the prices of taxis and activities they have on offer very pricey and not helpful when suggesting alternatives or information. The idea of an outdoor bathroom in theory sounds luxury but not very practical when it came down to it especially with the mosquitos in the evening.

Right next to the lake with beautiful views, a lovely pool and traditional feel villas/ rooms. You’re very much in nature and away from the city. You are quite far from Alleppey itself but you can ask the hotel to call a tuk tuk to take you there for ~100 INR or less.
