Very clean and well maintained rooms with comfortable beds and AC. Located in a great, safe area on a quiet street. Great to have a kitchenette in the common room as well. The owners are helpful and kind. Would highly recommend the delicious breakfast as well! Overall a wonderful stay!

In whole my travel history i haven't seen such a clean property. Such a kind people are the hosts. We were late on our arrival, but they were waiting for us. Lakshmi is one very lovely person. To everyone who wants to visit Kerala and especially Cochi. I will highly recommend Prakrity homestay. And what is most amazing - the rooms don't have numbers but names. Like butterfly, sunshine, rainbow, ocean.

Great location near to the Fort, safe area, spotless clean, comfortable bed, filtered water available, great value for money and very well-coming family. It’s simple but well maintained house. The rooms are independent from the family’s house and there is a small common area. Lakshmi and her husband are very kind, they will make sure you feel comfortable. Also they were very kind to let me check-in at 1am and have a late check-out without any extra costs. I totally recommend this place !

Everything was great but you need to be strong to carry your cases up 1 flight of stairs.

An absolute gem of a homestay in a great location, wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with separate kitchenette with fridge and freezer, filtered water and tea. The host had very good recommendations for dinner at the best local restaurant with great food. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to any travellers.

The Homestay is located perfectly in Fort Kochi - 10min walking to the sea and many good restaurants nearby. Also the owners are really nice.

Lakshmi was the sweetest and kindest host! The beds were the most comfortable of all the places we stayed during our trip, it was also handy having access to a kitchen area and fridge. Great price and location just a short walk from the main sites in Fort Kochi. Highly recommend!

Lakshmi is a warm and welcoming host - from the moment I arrived, after a night on a sleeper train, she was kind and helpful. My room was made available at 7am and I was able to stay on 'til evening on the day of departure with no extra charge - amazingly generous - she also provided lots of local information, arranged for my laundry to be done, and booked concert tickets (don't miss the excellent Kathakali concert).The place is delightful, super clean, tastefully furnished, and in a quiet residential street yet only a short walk from the buzz of Fort Kochi. Both a/c and fan were efficient, hot water plentiful, and the bed was the most comfortable I've had throughout India. The bath towel smelt lovely and fresh, and both power socket and light switch were accessible from the bed - little things mean a lot! Perfection.

My very small and only gripe would be to provide bigger blankets on the bed. This was really minor considering how wonderful the room was.

The room was spotlessly clean and just a 10 min walk down to the main hub. Lakshmi was great helping us with any questions. Kitchen and communal area were well equipped with everything you need. Filtered water was a great bonus with a fridge to keep drinks cold. The rooms were a decent size as was the bathroom. Amazing value for money.

I can’t think of anything.

I had such a good stay at Prakriti Homestay. The room was very clean and everything was so nicely organized. There’s a shared space with a fridge and kettle which was very useful for me. The owners are such kind and caring people, you could easily ask them anything you might need help with. I enjoyed a delicious Kerala breakfast each morning. Overall it’s a very good price for what you get. I only booked 2 nights but extended because I felt so comfortable.

Hot water only from the tap, not the shower. Also there is a mosque very nearby and the bells in the morning at 5am are really loud.

It was an incredibly cost-effective place to stay. The clean room came with air conditioning, toilet paper, complimentary drinking water, and a kettle, making it a comfortable choice even for Japanese travelers. Personally, I appreciated having an outlet near the bedside and a bathroom with hot water. The owner, Lakshmi, was extremely kind and provided detailed guidance on how to get to my next destination. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Fort Kochi!

The property has rooms just right for 2 people for couple of days stay on the 1st floor which is accessible by stairs. Has a common dining area and small kitchen for making coffee which is very clean. You can pre-order breakfast for a fee to have a homely and tasty local food (we did order for one day , coffee could have been better with little more quantity though as it was really tasty local food!!) We were allowed for an early check in and late check out is possible if available. And we are so grateful for that. But unfortunately there was some construction going on and couldn’t use the time for taking rest. Walls are quite thin and you will wake up if someone talks in the common dining area. Kitchen has free RO water, toaster and a kettle with cutlery. Also there is a fridge. Rooms have a small table and chair to work , cupboard and AC cools very quickly! Good for the summers. Bathroom is huge and very clean. Best place to stay in fort kochi for the price as there is value in this stay. Initially the blanket given was quite small for me while a slim person could be comfortable in it. But lakshmi chechi immediately got a bigger one for both of us so the sleep was perfect and comfortable. Owners are very friendly and welcoming and small things are neglected when there are so many good things about this place. They also arrange small tours near by and help you with details which you can get from them. Car can’t be parked here while bikes can. Can hire bikes near by(be careful with shana rental guy)
