There was not open space to connect with nature that’s make you feel quite isolated

I had an amazing stay. The host Mr Karim was super friendly and great to talk to. Although I was there for just one night, I’ll definitely consider staying at Nomad's Nest again whenever I have work or travel to Guwahati. Highly recommend for budget travellers.

Nothing much. If I have to nitpick, the bunk bed is a little unstable. Nothing serious though. It just felt a little difficult for a heavy person like me to climb up.

The owner Mr. Monjurul is extremely polite and humble guy. I had missed my sleeping pillow, he packed it nicely and sent it back to my current state of stay (Chhattisgarh); and even didn't accepted money (for packing and postage). I spoke with him often, he is really kind entrepreneur. All the best to him and his venture.

Karim was an excellent host and very helpful. He helped us order food, organise our travel and suggest places to visit. We even had the opportunity to attend a Bihu Concert thanks to him. He really went out of his way to accommodate us. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean.

The female and male dorm share one washroom which is bit uncomfortable but there is another common washroom outside the dorms.

The owner of the hostel is very helpful and hardworking. Its a good place to spend few nights if exploring Guwahati. The space has small kitchen as well.

Cleanliness - kitchen walls are greasy, bathroom corners full of hair/soap/dirty rags, beds dusty, rubbish bins not emptied... but perhaps no worse than most budget accomodation in NE India. Shared bathroom has 2 doors, one to each dorm - it requires the user to remember to unlock both doors when leaving ... often they don't and the bathroom is rendered unusable until someone from the other dorm is reminded to unlock the door. Very annoying and could be maddening if the hostel is full. Only one of 2 shower rooms has hot water. Shower didn't work - water dribbles out of 10% of the shower head There are no lockers - manager seems to think everyone is trustworthy

This is a fairly new hostel so it is still freshly painted. Hot water geyser works. 2 separate seating areas. Manager/owner very helpful with directions and ordering an uber. I like having the option of a female only dorm (4 beds). Located in a quiet "suburban" neighbourhood. The low price per night is very welcome and compensates for the negatives
