My family and I had a wonderful time staying here! The staff were great, and so was the property! Since it was away from the city, there was plenty of natural beauty and places to go for cozy evening walks. But the highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast (as everyone says)! My sister and I, who rarely eat breakfast, woke up excited for the food every day. If not for the beautiful property, go for the good South Indian food; you won't regret it!

The Homestay is located on a very private road, so we didn't need to worry about safety and privacy. The location us quiet and pleasant. The owner and staff looked after us very well. We were provided breakfast on both days that we were here. The house was clean and our room was cozy and comfortable. We had great hot water in the morning for our shower.

Excellent hospitality by property owner Mr Ronald Selladurai. His personal attention to every thing was commendable. Very organized and peaceful place to stay with family. Excellent and tastiest breakfast served by the owner was never to forget for. Location wise it's an excellent place to stay, Just 5 mins walk from the beautiful Ketti Mountain Railway Station...nice to be at station and enjoy watching toy trains passing by. It's a little far from transport if you don't drive there. (There's parking for 3/4 cars if you do, which is often not the case in this area). We didn't drive, but this wasn't a problem for our 3-day trip. Mr. Ronald connected us with a reliable hired car to pick up from Coimbatore airport and when we wanted to go out. Otherwise, walking along the train tracks through the pine forest is fun too. Else just laze around in the quietude we city people crave.

Would give 20 stars if I could! Host Mr Ronald is super - takes care of everything with two polite housekeeping ladies. Location is superb. It's a villa in a private gated community. Very safe and calming silence except for pleasant tinkling cowbell from the cow grazing in the meadow next door. Occasional toot of the heritage narrow gauge train that runs in nearby mountains during the day a few times. There's a fully equipped kitchen, so you can make infant's special meals if you bring a kid. Lunch/dinner isn't served (it's a bed & breakfast) but you can order in food.

It was lovely. The host Mr. Selladurai looks after the place as his home and is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Even though our arrival was of short notice he arranged a temporary room to freshen up and prepared a comfortable room for us promptly. Had a safe, secure and comfortable stay. He went out of his way to make sure we left with breakfast, even if it was very early that we decided to leave to beat traffic the next day. Would visit again happily.

I liked everything. It's nothing I didn't like about.

The owner was so friendly in nature. Even before we reached the place, the owner guided us to take the shortest route. He was in touch right from the time we started from Bangalore. During the stay we were 3 couples We occupied all the 3 rooms which were on the first floor. All of the rooms have attached bathrooms and a common balcony. All the rooms including the bathrooms were very clean along with new bedsheets and towels. Even the cupboards have given us a vintage vibe. There was hot water available in the bathrooms. We had breakfast for two days during the stay. The breakfast was too good. Trust me you will love it. The chutneys stole the show. The coffee and the team were on point . They have a dining kitchen(we used it for boiling the water and there is an oven for us to heat the food that we brought from outside).There was a refrigerator as well,you can use everything after letting the owner know. On the 31st, we played catan in their spacious living room. The owner was so kind to pack us breakfast on those two days,since we started for the ooty train and morning location viewing. He even arranged for a driver from us to drop at Coonoor and again pick us up at Oooty railway station for a reasonable price. Overall I and my cousins were more than pleased with the stay at the Narmada Holiday home. Whenever we visit Ooty again,we are definitely going to book here only and also recommend to any of our family members or friends to stay. Thank you
