It’s a heritage bungalow, so the furniture is likewise. Don’t expect plush furniture as you would in a new hotel. However, if you are looking for comfort and ambience, combined with world-class hospitality, this is the place. It grows on you. The food and service is exceptional. The staff is top notch on Hospitality. The location is amazing. We were caught unawares by pre-monsoon showers and the temperature dropped to 20C in May! We were amongst the clouds-literally. If you are travelling with a pet (we were with our Labrador), then this is an awesome choice.

The bed and pillows were incredibly hard and the bathroom and bedroom needed maintenance.

Heritage property in a beautiful setting with a lovely garden. Staff were delightful and the food which was cooked to order was good.

Nothing in particular, we loved the place and the people. The only suggestion we have is, not many prefer to eat too much, if they could start offering "a la carte ", just a few basic items would make it a better experience for people who eat light and prefer home food.

Liked the property and the staff was very courteous, we will visit again.

Though the room was overall clean and attractively furnished, the bathroom basin or commode was leaking, dysfunctional soap dispenser at the washbasin, and unclean overhead fans disappointed us. The food though sufficient in quantity could do with some improvement in quality.. The food when it arrived at the table was stone cold since none of the serving dishes had covers to keep the food warm. The driveway into the property could do with a little sprucing. The property's potential could be greatly improved with more supervision and a little modernization.

Although guests can order food in from outside, it would be great if lighter meal options can be arranged at the property. More vegetarian options alongside meat can make for balanced meals. Bathrooms need proper ventilation. A bathroom shared by four people can get stuffy!

Great location overlooking a lake. Charming 100-year-old bungalows with all modern amenities in place. Tasty authentic Parsi food, diverse menus for every meal. Extremely hospitable owners and staff. Prompt and caring service. Cherry on the cake is the valley view. Can’t have enough of it.

Excellent breakfast quantity was a lot. The whole menu was different and very tasty. Staff and Manager were very helpful. Taxis were easily available for short drop offs or even sightseeing. Would definitely recommend.

Food was great. Staff was very helpful. Location is very near to the market, just the slope to main road was awfully steep, but then you can't do anything about it. Rooms were clean, but they should work on the doormat provided, those looked dirty and worn out. Our room was the corner one and the smallest one, So too compact. A good heritage stay overall

The rooms were old as the place is functioning since the early 1900's , so if you overlook that, it's not so bad.

Loved the place, the location was very convenient, overlooking the valley. The rustic parsi feel to the place was enhanced by the food they served us. The staff is super helpful and Mr. Parmar the manager is very accommodating.

I had selected this more expensive hotel because of the bathroom picture that was posted on Booking.com. Unfortunately, it didn't look at all like that. The mattress was very hard.

We had breakfast and dinner and both meals were fantastic. The grounds were very well kept and the lighting at night was beautiful It was very quiet at night The staff was very friendly and helpful

There were some inconveniences in the room. There was no fan for those who prefer a fan to an AC. This was Room no.1. I don't know about the other rooms There was no wardrobe. No place to hang your clothes. There was a cabinet with drawers, but they were extremely tight and very very difficult to open/shut.. The chairs/benches outside in the compound could have been more comfortable. The above is not a criticism. Just a friendly hint to the management to make minor improvements.

Service of the staff was excellent.. Good Parsi food. No excessive masala-mirchi.The option of half-board is a great idea. Linen, etc was very clean. The location is excellent. Lot of greenery around. A good view. No shine and glitter of new hotels. A proper heritage place for those who like old-world charm. Overall, a great stay, and very recommendable.
