Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

They have given has top floor and it is wall are made up of wooden, it is non AC room but we are expecting good room.

Excellent stay, very well maintained and clean. Staffs were really good and ensured our comfort. Staffs were really kind, honest and friendly. Morning we requested for tea and they made tea for all of us. Big kitchen with self cooking facility was also available. Overall we had very pleasant stay.

Everything is good except for the room service like not having basic requirement like tea , coffee. customer can pay for it.

I didn't like the confusion regarding the confirmed room booking got cancelled after
Actually i booked a non AC room @999 first, it was confirmed through the booking.com app and i received the confirmation but the staff called me and informed that someone else booked before me through another website. So i have to book another room with higher rate. it made me bit disappointed. I am wonder how my booking got confirmed if someone booked it before me ? Or is this the play for attracting customers by showing lower rates and make them forcefully to take higher rate rooms ?

It's 10min walk from JLN metro station. The washrooms were not that good. Not that peaceful either, all the time you can hear the water motor or something run. No facilities either. Photos showed clean washrooms but the one we got was an old beat up one.

The washroom drainage had a slightly unpleasant odor.
Nice location with easy access to all kinds of amenities nearby. The manager was really warm and welcoming too.

Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the homestay, the size of the room, and the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of whom were helpful during our stay). They even went out of their way to guide us through the places to visit in Kochi. The area is centrally located, making it easy to walk around. Very nice homestay close to the Train Station, bus, and Metro. Homestay well well-maintained with interesting decor in bedrooms. It was a pleasant stay.

Very disappointing experience. We were a group of friends staying peacefully in our rooms and casually having a few drinks when the hotel owner suddenly turned up late at night. He rudely asked us to leave our rooms immediately and come down to the reception so he could take a headcount at around 2:30am . At one point he even asked, "is this your home" which felt extremely humiliating. The way he spoke to us was disrespectful, unnecessary and totally unprofessional. We were paying guests and weren’t disturbing anyone, yet were made to feel like we had done something terribly wrong. This behaviour completely ruined our stay. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a warm, welcoming experience. We were also heavily overcharged since a few of our friends came to visit. We were forced to make the extra payment even for the ones that didn't stay there.
