The room was a bit small. No fridge in the room. No coffee cups. No place in the room to let some cloths dry. Some days no room service or it seems. General tip for travellers: your hotel booked at booking.com: 5 % extra credit card charge only allowed if mentioned during booking/pre conditions.

The garden is absolutely wonderful and gets a 10. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bed slept wel. Shower was also nice.

A little gem close to the beach with a small garden & big courtyard. It cannot be reached to the front door by car as the street is too narrow, you are required to walk 50m and roll your suitcase along. We met Martin the owner, Raju the manager & Abi the assistant, all were super kind & happy to help. The breakfast is all home made by Raju and delicious. It was clean & the beds are comfortable. We particularly liked their effort to leave a low carbon footprint eg recycling, offering drinking water via big containers of filtered water instead of plastic bottles,… We also enjoyed joining the yoga class every morning on the rooftop at 6.30am. (For a small extra cost)

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Special thanks to Raju, who managed to handle breakfast, keep the garden blooming and clean, and even helped organize trips outside Kovalam. The garden felt like a little piece of Eden, and the rooftop yoga sessions with a panoramic view of the seaside and sky were a highlight. Breakfast was homely and delicious, though a bit more variety in Indian cuisine would have been appreciated. Our room was cozy, but a touch-up renovation and brighter lighting would enhance the experience. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and felt sad to leave. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was occasionally weak or unavailable, but since we came to relax rather than work, it didn’t bother us much. Additionally, the beach is very close—conveniently accessible yet far enough not to be disturbed by the sound of waves at night. Would definitely recommend it!

Fittings...the shutters would not open some would not close, the cupboard door would not lock. Also, the rooms and the entire premises were dark (even with lights on)...could be dangerous for those a bit older or those with vision problems.

Great people at the place, that makes all the difference! Martin was an excellent host, Raju was amazing! Cleaning staff very warm and friendly. Also the garden is beautiful. It was very peaceful to wake up to lush greenery and walk up and watch the lovebirds...there's a large aviary in the garden as well.

Raju the Manager was so rude. He upfront denies services on face. No courtesy with Indian tourist, but you will see him being polite with foreign nationals- the bias is vivid! There was another co-host, he was brilliant, but Raju spoiled our mood in the co-host’s absence and he had a terrible encounter with him.

The house was perfect, just that beautiful Lighthouse beach has faaaar tooooo many sales persons walking around and it gets really annoying after an hour.

Located in a tiny green park, a beautiful building. All in perfect condition. We lived it. Narrow paths in three directions, and all leading to the beach ....
