The view from the restaurant is exceptional The staff were super friendly and it was about a 5 7 min walk to the west entrance of the Taj. The room had just been renovated and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was also comfortable. If you are coming to see the Taj this is a great place to stay.

The service was not good, we were told that there is no indian food chef today so we selected continental breakfast, but then someone next to us got the Indian option. We asked twice if tomorrow there will be indian breakfast option and they said yes. Next morning we were told the same - no indian breakfast. In the end we managed to get it but at what cost, and it was not including all ingredients mentioned in the menu. I don't mind that there is not option that they offer, but I hate that they lied to us multiple times.

The whole room was getting tremendously humid, with water droplets visible on the walls. There was a mold in the hidden corner which might be unhealthy for the elderly or people with weaker immune system. Flushing was not working properly, so this might be really unpleasant for some. Although gift might be a pleasant surprise, for one who does not collect trinkets, they insisted kind of too much. Masala chai as a welcome drink would please everyone.

The accomodation offered everything for one night sleepover. It was freshly renovated but it had some place for improvement. The staff was friendly, and gave us welcome gifts. Included breakfast was average so we dined elsewhere.

Upon leaving, we asked if the receptionist could arrange a tuk tuk on his mobile app for us as we had no signal to take us to the train station. He tried to rip us off by saying the price was 800 rupees each for 3 people. We knew the price was 150-200 total as we had an Indian friend with us and he had arranged our tuk tuk the day before to the hotel from the station. This was a dirty move from the receptionist and he should be ashamed trying to overcharge us by 2200 rupees and this takes my rating from a 10/10 to an 8/10.

Great location, 5 minute walk to the taj mahal. Breakfast is okay and the owner has a gift shop which had some nice souvenirs that were reasonable prices. Hospitality was really good from the owner

very loud (next to the main street), even at night cars hoop non stop. I dont recommend this place if travelling with small kids. also in rooms we stayed (3 in total,.incl friends) there are old broken airconditioners,but you can use only fan. For me it was a misleading thing, as I saw it on picture and assumed my room has airconditioner. I complained about noise on arrival day, but nothing was done to help, the answer from receptionist was "its not our fault whats happening on the street", but on the last day it appeared that their neighbour hotel(same owner), had free quite rooms that we could even move in.

The rooms had recently been redecorated and the quality of finishing could have been better and some of the fixtures still needed to be updated such as the cupboard space and shelving for clothing.

I believe they may be updating a few things, like adding some clothes hangers and somewhere to hand your towel, and possibly adding g a chair or stool to the desk area. These things would add tremendous value. Maybe a stronger router for the wifi, but it did work better at night.

The proximity to the west gate of the Taj Mahal was key for us, but it had a lovely restaurant on the top, serving great food with an amazing view of the Taj Mahal. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was tiny, but adorable.

Lucky hotel was being renovated so as we arrived we were escorted across the road to another hotel owned by the same people. They tried to sell us an upgraded room and we're fairly persistent with this. Over all really friendly staff

It was very noisy which made it difficult to sleep (mainly dogs outside fighting and barking which can't be helped), they also played very loud music between 8 - 9 which woke me up and kept me up.

The street is noisy. The wiring in the bathroom was concerning.

The hotel had a very high service level in comparison to everywhere else we have stayed. What we received was exactly what we booked. The facilities we all as stated on the site.
