Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We loved the overall experience. Before checking in we were contacted by Adrija from the lobby. She made sure our check-in was smooth, took care of special request for my partner's birthday surprise. Our butler Abhishek was prompt and attentive. We had lovely conversation with Kumari in club lounge; she made sure we had a pleasant experience every time we visited the lounge, from comfortable sitting to the choice of drinks. Priyanka from restaurant and breakfast was very helpful -- I needed a safety pin for my dress; she stepped out and brought us a few. Overall, there was a personal touch and warmth in their service. We will definitely go back to the Leela Palace.

IndiaJust a couple of suggestions: 1. Add moisturizer/lotion to washroom toiletries. 2. The fruits in the room should be assorted. 3. The water tap in the bathtub wasn't working.
The staff is very professional and courteous. The room was spacious and very well appointed. The best part was the view of the ocean from the room (and from the washroom as well). Breakfast spread offers a great variety. I only tried idlis (and fruits), which were yummy. It's great that there are whole fruits at the breakfast buffet. Oh! And the shower is great.
