Wonderful stay in a relaxed and welcoming place I had a great time at this hostel. The private room was spacious and very cozy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxed, perfect for unwinding. What really stood out was the host – exceptionally friendly, always helpful, and truly dedicated to making sure guests feel at home. He took time to show me around and shared lots of great tips. You can tell he genuinely cares. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We loved the actual property but wouldn’t recommend the cooking class that was booked through it - it was quite pricey for what it was.

Having arrived from a freezing UK, I made the mistake of not checking if air-con was available. The description clearly doesn't mention it, so this isn't a criticism. The rooms did have fans, which given the heat, didn't help me. If I'd been accustomed to the heat, the fans might have been fine.

The owners, Babu and Kurumi, were a delight to talk to and very helpful. They let me check-in early. Filtered water is constantly available. There's a common area to meet other guests.

I really enjoyed staying here at Kochill and extended my stay to four nights. The room is a good size and very clean and comfortable. The upstairs common area was comfortable and a great place to talk with other guests. And the hosts Babu and Kurumi were always around and very helpful with travel arrangements and ideas for local activities. The theater and dance shows at the local Kathakali theater were fabulous.

It is a quiet and relaxed place. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is not far from the main attractions in this part of Fort Cochi, it's within a walking distance from the streets with cafes, Chinese nets, etc.

Generally there wasn't much of a vibe but saying that, we did come off season so it's to be expected.

It was a really lovely place super close to everything you'd need. The host were also really lovely to have a chat with. We stayed in the double room and although the space was limited, it was definitely worth it for the price we paid and everything was nice and clean.

This property is clean including the private bathroom. Just note that you can't wear footwear in the common areas. Location is great with beach and oldtown attractions (Jewish Town etc.) within a few minutes of walking distance, and the hosts are very friendly.

Kochill is a really nice hotel with hostel spirit : the place is super calm nearby in the center of Kochi, really easy to reach the center by foot. Bouba is a generous and nice host, attentive to the travelers and their journey, you will feel welcome and cared there. The food made by Kurumi, the wife of the host, is delicious and serve all day? As 35 year old woman, the place reaches my expectation in term of confort and the coziness guesthouse vibe. I will definitively come back there ! You can also really enjoy the sounds of all the birds around, they were incredible <3
