FAULY AC, SIDE STREET LEADING TO THE HOTEL, BREAKFAST CHOICE, SAME STUFF DAILY,

Excellent Location & Exceptional Staff – But Some Key Issues Need Attention We recently stayed at this hotel with our extended family, booking four rooms for ten days. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would still recommend this hotel – especially because of its excellent location and outstanding staff. Positives: The rooms offered stunning views, facing the highway with distant backwaters and the island bridge in sight. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the early morning trawlers heading out to fish and the continuous flow of traffic crossing the bridge – it made for a unique and calming experience. The hotel staff were easily the highlight of our stay. The restaurant team, in particular, deserves a special mention. The cook, Ashwin, prepared delicious omelettes each morning with care and consistency. The main waiter, also named Aswin, was truly exceptional – attentive, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. He even personally helped deliver breakfast to my elderly mother’s room when she couldn’t make it to the restaurant. Staff like him are rare, and I honestly believe he deserves a promotion to head waiter. Concerns: However, there were several issues that impacted our overall satisfaction: 1. Air Conditioning: This was our biggest concern. The ACs in all four rooms never worked properly throughout our stay. We had to call reception every single day to get them fixed, which became frustrating. 2. Access Road: The narrow side street leading from the main road to the hotel entrance is in urgent need of repair. The steep pavement and broken concrete blocks posed a real safety hazard, especially for elderly or less-mobile guests. Taxis and rickshaws frequently got stuck or skidded, which was dangerous and unsettling. Given that our community books 20+ rooms annually for religious events, this issue must be addressed immediately or we may have to reconsider future bookings.

The cotton (linens) need to replace. Also the room had cigarettes smell.

There was some wifi connection issue and was reported to reception and they replied that they will correct it and connect back within 5 mins. Even after 2 hours, there was no response and i went down in person and asked for an update.

Location was good and easy to reach. Forum mall was very few km away where you can spend some time and can do a shopping.

the food could have been better. For tourist they would like to aste some local cusine aswel. the buffet was very ordinary. you could have charge few rupees extra and provided better variety of food. Buffet was very disappointing compared the other hotels for same range in Kochin.

The amount mentioned during booking on bookings.com is different and what hotel has charged me is different.. They charged me 1000rs extra ...i dont know why..

Dinner varieties and breakfast variety.

We had a smooth checkin at 10pm. Even though our tariff included dinner, it wasn't a buffet but an ala- carte' . The food was OK as there were not much varieties. But we had a very comfortable sleep that night. Morning breakfast was Buffet and was OK. Overall rating is better than Fair.

Breakfast was good. Everything we needed for an enjoyable breakfast was available. Beds in room were extremely comfortable; allowing us to have full night sleep every night. All staff were very helpful & attentive to our needs. Reception staff were helpful & very knowledgeable about the local area, places to go & things to do & see.

Rooms need renovation. The wood flooring is peeling at several places. There were lizard in bathroom in 2 out of the 4 rooms we had booked. AC vents need cleaning. My 2yr old and my parents were sneezing as soon as the ac was switched on. This is not expected from a 4star property.

The location is closer to Fort Kochi and there are malls near by. Some rooms overlook the waterway and offer great view.
