Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe mattress was a little hard, but other than that everything was beautiful.
The location is great and has amazing views of the palace from the rooftop. Bundi is small, so most places of interest are within walking distance. My room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated/furnished. If you want to feel like royalty without breaking the bank, this is your place! All members of staff I encountered were lovely. They looked after me when I got terribly ill with food poisoning, bringing me everything from water to medicine to some light food when I could stomach it again. A special thank you to everyone for taking care of me and apologies once again for any inconvenience this may have caused.

FranceIt's a great hotel, it just lacked the rooftop restaurant. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room are essential if there is no restaurant in the hotel. May be this is something that could be added in the rooms.
A beautiful, clean hotel with a great rooftop view of the fort, but with no rooftop restaurant when I was there which was very disappointing. This is a priority for me, morning coffee is essential and as a solo traveller it is always important to have the possibility to eat in the hotel in the evening. If there had been tea and coffee making facilities in the room, I would have loved to stay longer. May be this is something that could be added in the rooms.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything to dislike except if you don't like the steep stone stairs that you find in most havelis.
The young man who welcomed me was so kind and helpful - I didn't catch his name. I asked to change to a deluxe room (number 10) and that was no problem. The rooms are beautifully decorated with painted ladies, elephants, flowers etc and coloured glass in the windows and everything wasThere was lots of hot water for the shower and good pressure. It was easy to walk to the beautiful palace (5 minutes max) and from the roof the best view of it and illuminated at night - stunning. It was quiet and there's an Italian restaurant on the top floor so very convenient.

Beautiful heritage haveli 500 years old with much character. Like staying in a museum. It's very central and walkable to all the sites. The owner and staff were kind and helpful. We slept very well. Tip....you can visit the magnificent paintings in the fort for free .Just sign in and say you only want to see the paintings. You will still see some of the fort on the way and save 600 rupees.

FranceHowever, the bed linens were old and dirty, and there was no inside lock on the door. There were numerous other issues with the room and never any staff around to deal with them. We didn't feel welcome.
We liked the authentic old haveli architecture and the rooftop view of the palace. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

United StatesVishnu, the manager, went out of his way to make sure I was cared for. When I wasn't feeling well, he went himself to buy what I wanted. Mommed, the cook, really knows how to make delicious food. Rajesh, was there to help with anything I needed. I was greeted with a cool drink when I arrived, and Rajesh, hung a garland of flowers around my neck. It was really high quality service.

SpainThe owner, Navneet, and his staff were all very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a nice as possible. The hotel restaurant has recently reopened and food was all really nice and the service was good. We chose to have breakfast and dinner there every day. They organised our train station collection and a taxi to take us on to Udaipur (stopping at chottorgargh to see the fort on the way). Navneet took the time to talk to us every day and check that we were happy. The view of the palace from the roof terrace, the restaurant, and from one of our rooms was perfect. The location was moments from the entrance to the palace and an easy walk to everywhere in Bundi. We would highly recommend staying here if visiting Bundi, and we hope to return

DenmarkBefore arrival we send a message regarding the restaurant and the possibility of having dinner due to a late arrival - the answer "Yes No problem" We stayed 4 nights - the restaurant was closed every day. When we arrived around 8.15 pm the restaurant was closed. We asked about this "the restaurant was open at the time of reply" - which was the day before!!! And we were instructed to pay the full amount in advance! Overall we did not like the attitude.
Big room and shower. We liked the deco.

I really enjoyed my stay at Kasera Paradise. The room was sparkling clean and very spacious. It was beautifully decorated, had a very comfortable bed, as well as a table and two chairs. Wifi and hot water worked well. Michael was very helpful. The location is perfect, one minute walk from the castle and fort, and there are many different restaurants on the same street. I'd definitely stay here again! Thank you Michael!
