There was nothing to dislike about the property.

It is incredibly quaint and beautiful constructed with beautiful wood designed into it. The pool was really clean and inviting for a swim. The sight has a sea view from the balcony which is accessible by every room. The garden has some unusual and unique plants and this is tended to with great care. Amongst the trees there is a hammock which was fabulous for a rest in the afternoon. From arrival to departure, the service from the proprietors and staff was extremely courteous and friendly. My friend and I ate our dinners there as the food was excellent and delicious with a different choice every night. The host also made special arrangements for us a to travel arround the country as we wanted to visit other parts of Kerala. Our driver was highly knowledgeable and with my disability he made sure I was safe and comfortable. He was also very trustworthy and patient in allowing us time to look at places. I would highly recommend Jeeva Homestay to anyone who is looking for an exceptional place stay in Trivandrum at an affordable price.

It is sooo beautiful, everything so serene and comfortable and well maintained. I really could relax here with the sounds of the sea in de background. The food was fresh and yummie and the staff exceptionally loving and caring. I can highly recommend a stay here!

A bit of a trek to Chowara beach but could take a tuk tuk!

Peaceful location with nice gardens and pool. Decent breakfast and good choice too. Dinner also very good and reasonably priced. Staff very accommodating. I mentioned I loved brinjal (aubergine) and although, not on the menu, the chef prepared brinjal masala for me!

There was nothing we disliked about this property, but be aware that although there is a beach within 20 minutes walk, it’s not a beach you would like to spend much time on. Kovalam is approximately 14 kms away and a tuk tuk costs about 450inr.

Beautiful looking property, very well maintained and with a lovely, clean pool. Rooms were basic, but perfectly adequate for our needs. We had a small villa at the back and we loved the peace and quiet it offered.

Everyone takes care of you. They are very kind. The owner answered inmediately when i booked , and we'll keep in contact all the time, to solve any doubt you have .You can see the beach from the terrace, its near and quite empty, and you can have lunch and dinner well prepared. The guys working there really kind people too. You feel at home! 100% recomended! Thanks to all.

Accessible to beach

Nice property.....clean rooms , plus the owner is very polite and friendly. Staffs are well mannered. The Only drawback was that it's a few km far from the beach, so if you are hiring a ride than its good otherwise it's not at a walkable distance from the beach . Overall the property is great. Will recommend it.

We liked everything and whole heartedly recommend Jeevan Homestay.

We loved our neat and clean room with the comfy balcony. The pool is really nice and the traditional architecture and furniture is a lovely touch. We just loved the place and hope to be back. Our host,Jinu,was precise, warm and helpful. My husband and I had a really wonderful time, we only wish that we could have stayed longer. Thanks to everyone at Jeevan Homestay for their warmth and hospitality.

Great stay! Friendly and welcoming staff , very very helpful, lovely location away from busyness of Kovalam. Only 300-400 IR in Rickshaw to Kovalam Beach. We had two nights before flying out of India great place to unwind , very clean pool. Highlight was the final.night of Pongal Festival..lights for 2km along the narrow road at front of homestay. music, food stalls closer to temple at end of road ..dancing..finished off with parade at midnight with elephant walking past us.. we had no idea this was taking place so such a fantastic experience. Happens every year mid Jan..definitely worth coming to experience this! Recommend this homestay. Breakfast was fine and also had fruit platter, had one dinner and that was fine and very reasonable

Quiet location, which suited us though!

The pictures looked incredible, and in real life it is even more amazing!! The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. We only stayed 2 nights we wish we stayed longer. Lal the chef made the best food for us, particularly the masala grilled fish.

Nothing - it was fabulous Worth being aware that it is a drive to Kovalam beach - which is the nearest nice beach. However staff were able to order a taxi and arrange everything we needed

Immaculate and beautiful homestay with a gorgeous garden which was magically lit up for Christmas. Staff could not have been more welcoming. Even preparing Christmas cake and treats for guests. The pool is wonderful and we especially loved the incredible views. Would return again and again without hesitation.

Very good value for money! Super friendly staff and owner. Very clean room, bathroom, pool... In fact, the whole property is meticulously maintained and nicely decorated. Beautiful location and garden. The massage they proposed in a nearby ayurvedic center was excellent as well. Jeevan's place is an absolute must when you're in the area!
