How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Service staff at the restaurant were too casual. Buffet wasn’t ready until 7:30 am although the breakfast officially opens at 7 am. When I asked how long it would take they bluntly told me in another 10 mins mam. Moreover, the spread wasn’t quite healthy or up to the mark, except for a few local dishes

I felt like, little bit of cleaning was missing either in the bedroom or in the washroom. Secondly, I would like to say that I checked out very early in the morning and the kitchen, they told that coffee is not available since you have customers moving in and out like this. I appreciate if you could have a small snack meal available during the early time of departure.

The rooms are very small compared to the price which is being charged, for our surprise the bathroom door didn't had a lock, I didn't report that since I was travelling as a family but it was a bit weird, and also the bathroom is very congested and the cleaning needs improvement as we could notice stains inside. Bed wasn't that comfortable for 2 adults and a child, may be for 2 people it could be fine, The whole place looks old and kind of worn out, staff is polite and good but still lacked some energy and grace is welcoming the guest, reception is in first floor and there was no one to collect or help with the luggage and the guest have to do it by themselves. I have been to Ibis with better services and Wouldn't recommend here for a long stay, for one night or a layover if you are in the city it will be a good option to stay here.
The best part of this hotel is the location, it is very conveniently located in the center of the city, there is lulu right in front of the hotel with couple of other shopping places like levis, starbucks etc, easily accessible to come and go from railway station, taxi can be obtained any time of the day, there is veg restaurant in walkable distance "Shree Anandhaas" and the place very good dining options.

Sub standard towels, housekeeping not upto mark , too much cost control incl reuse of certain tags . Tv not functioning, maintenance did not turn up on request . Baby cot placed without sheets ( got it after request ) one towel for double occupancy. Security staff was the most excellent.

Billing. They debited twice from my credit card. Still not got the refund. Neither got the invoice copy. Waiting. I am calling them . They are not responding.

The breakfast was good. The Indian food was good. But the western food could be better in choice and offering
The staff in IBIS Coimbatore were very warm and welcoming. They made my stay as comfortable as possible. The room service was prompt.

The room door moved and since I was traveling alone I was scared. The bed moved so I had to ask the hotel staff to join the bed. I think I was overcharged by booking.com
