The wifi could have been a tiny bit better, but perhaps this was just playing up a little during our stay! Would still throughly recommend staying here though.

The staff were genuinely the loveliest people we have ever met. The breakfast was amazing, and there was so much choice! The place was like home from home. The location was also excellent, being so close to the boats and the town centre. Would reccomend to anyone visiting Alleppey.

Our rooms were mixed up and we had to move around during our stay. But on the plus side, all the rooms were nice and clean.

Very comfortable place in a lovely neighborhood. The family has a beautiful roof garden and a nice house with a separate entrance for the guests – a small but a thought-through detail. The owners are very responsive and friendly. Plus the rooms were exceptionally clean. Get ready that there may be a call to prayer early in the morning nearby the house.

It’s at center location but everything on kochi part will be covered from area. Property is well maintained and neat and clean. It’s very silent you gonna love it. Arun here was very helpful and will suggest right spot at right time to cover.

Clean, spacious homestay! Close to food, shops and a 2km walk to both Fort Kochi and Jew Town. Dev and his family were welcoming and provided excellent customer service.

Nothing not to like.

From the moment we made the booking Dev and his family made sure we were totally looked after. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed as if it was no problem, we asked to leave our bags while we went on a day trip to Alleppey… no problem. Nothing was a bother, there was always a solution. The room was a great size (enough for two of us to be able to do yoga!), had AC, quiet fan, balcony and access to free clean drinking water and they welcomed us brining our own food back and have plates and a dining table to eat as as well as a roof terrace.

The perfect place to stay in Kochi! Within easy walking distance of all the sights, but just outside the main touristy areas. The host was very helpful with suggestions of places to go and good cafes, and it felt like a home away from home. The room was clean and very comfortable, with very fast wifi speed in case you have to get some work done during your stay. I'll definitely stay again if I'm back in Kerala.

5.30 wake up from temple but only short. This is not the the kind of homestay where you are eating all meals together in a family in case that is what you are looking for.

Central location about 1.5km from main attractions. Easy to get tuk tuk on every street corner. Lovely room that opened on the rooftop. Yoga mat available to use.Good size bathroom and shower. Kettle in room. Fridge and plates available in communal area to keep food. Private entrance. Dev and family very friendly and helpful. Booked tours etc for us. Always went out if their way to help.

It’s a small family owned hotel. Big & comfortable. Absolutely value for the money. They have also common space for the guest - there is plates, cutlery, small fridge. I found that very handy. Place is extremely clean and well maintained.

They don’t provide breakfast which we realised once checked in. I think I just assumed breakfast was included as it was in all the other homestays. When we arrived the guy watched us carry suitcases and bags up 3 flights of stairs. Didn’t offer to help. If you wanted something you had to text- so you never saw owners. Didn’t feel like a Homestay.

The room was nice and clean and had kettle (And big cups!! :) for tea ) . When we arrived the first room was boiling and wouldn’t cool down with the A/C so they moved us to another room which was nice and cold. The rooms had little balcony areas which was a nice place to relax.

There really was nothing to complain about or not like. För me everything was perfect

Devanad and his family went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible, every single request was met with incredible helpfulness, from finding affordable and reliable transport to booking visits and excursions, or borrowing items that i needed, even allowing me to check out late without complaints, and having a well needed last shower before my departure even though my room was already checked out. Every request was satisfied and met with genuine hospitality, and Dev was always available for any communication. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and spacious, water was provided and the hotel is in a relatively quiet area, even the nearby mosque did not disturb my sleep at all even though I'm a light sleeper. The terrace is lovely and offers a great space for relaxation, and his wife cooked a wonderful complimentary breakfast, before going to work in the morning. The staff is very dedicated and lovely and just as helpful and kind, this was truly a home for me for the few days i spent in Kochi and provided me with a safe relaxing space, not to mention the location is excellent and close to everything you want to experience in the city. I could not be happier and warmly recommend this place for anyone looking to visit Kochi. Thank you so much! 🙏

Very warm, welcoming and helpful host who gave, overall, good recommendations for cultural activities and restaurants. Flexible with check-in and check-out. Laundry service. Helpful in case of potential special requests. Nice roof-top terrance for yoga.
