Clean, well maintained and value for money. Breakfast that they are sourcing from vendor isn't upto the mark, so skip breakfast or meals plan and swiggy or zomato as per your choice. Owner responds immediately over the phone, and guides his best, about your queries. Overall I would recommend this stay, as it well maintained, clean and in a quite location.

Beautiful and very well maintained property. Each and every required details were shared in advance. The location of the property is a peaceful neighbourhood were grocery,food and everything you need is within walking distance. All in all a must visit if you are looking for a peaceful stay close to Chennai airport.

Kitchen available in few rooms only.

We, two brothers, had booked two rooms at this property. The rooms were very comfortable and came with all the amenities one would expect from a 3-star hotel or quality homestay. The caretaker was available and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Both rooms were neat, clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

Overall stay was good. I had to travel to attend a marriage function. The marriage hall was near to this place and hence booked here. Caretaker and host had a welcoming approach and ensured my room was neat and clean.

It is a little out of the way. Also, there was nothing to drink when we got to the property late and there were no shops open in the area. But overall our visit was brilliant.

We arrived here very late but the staff were very good. The owners of the property were more than helpful - they went out of their way to ensure we had an extra night and could not do enough for us.

Would be unfair to be critical in relation to cost of room so with that in mind it was very good.

We had an very early flight out of Chennai Airport so booked this place on a good value for money basis stop over as we would not really be having much benefit from the cost of booking one of the international chains nearer the airport. We arrived mid afternoon and were not sure how it would be for local amenities for eating etc but trusted in some of the reviews we had already viewed before booking. The hosts were very quick to inform us of the details on location of the accommodation via what's app upon booking and this information was very accurate and valuable to our taxi driver when trying to locate the property as it is set in an urban subarb of Chennai within 15-30min drive from the airport. We were fortunate to meet the hosts Latha and Sam during our short stay as we ended up requiring extra assistance with a couple of things for different reasons and we found them both to be very helpful, lovely, polite and approachable. They both went out of there way to assist us in anyway they could. They also provided details of local eateries that they would recommend and we were very pleased with the Aksharas Veg Restaraunt that we went to as one of those recommendations. If you are looking for a budget room place to stay in this area of Chennai we would highly recommend.

It was a bit light in the room at night but this was fine with an eye mask.

In a residential area, fairly quiet, nice open terrace on the top floor to sit out and relax. Supermarket /local stalls /atm close by which was good for getting some last minute snacks before heading to the airport. The homely food cooked locally was great, and mr Kumaran the taxi driver arrived on time to take me to the airport on the middle of the night. So a good stay for a solo traveler. Hosts were also friendly.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Sam was an excellent host. The check-in was quick, simple and the room had everything that I needed. He also helped organise the taxi pick-up and drop-off to Chennai Airport, which was smooth and without any issues. The room was in a quiet location of Chennai so it was easy to get some well needed rest!

We had a lovely time at Friendlystay, despite strange circumstances. My husband was very sick while we were there, and the care and advice given by all was exceptional. Everything from medicine to food recommendations were generous, helpful, and wonderful. This is a comfortable room for a family of four, with great resources to help with travel, eating, and more.

The taxi found it hard to find and booking.com said it was, ( I think 1.5 miles )from airport. But that is as the crow flies which is so misleading . In a taxi was much further but I allowed for the time and was ok. Booking.com need to change their distances to a taxi ride as I haven't met anyone yet who goes on a crow !! Or at least be honest and SAY it's ' as the crow flies '.

Everything. The host couldn't be more helpful and having had some bad experiences with supposed good reviews in places , this was perfect. I had a beautiful room , clean and spacious . Totally recommend here.

Not many restaurants close by for a meal.

Nice quiet neighborhood in a residential area and friendly, helpful staff. Fairly close to the airport but still took us 45 min. The room was comfortable and very good value. We felt safe in the area.

Very helpful hosts Sam and Latha, answering any queries that we had weeks before we traveled. They arranged airport taxis for us and as a tour around Chennie, Kumuran our driver was great. The accommodation was great spotlessly clean. We felt safe and were able to walk to a few shops, restaurants and ATMs from there.
