The room is in bad need of renovation. Fixing the humidity problems on the walls and a painting job would be advisable. We had no hot water on our 1st day, but when I mentioned it, the owner immediately checked it out and fixed the problem, which only took a couple of minutes. A drying rack, either outside the door or inside the room to dry our towels, cups, and a kettle would be welcome.

Extremely friendly owners who boiled water for us and gave us cups for our morning coffee. Clean and very comfortable mattress and pillows. Closet available, great working A/C, and good water pressure. Great location in a quiet side street, only a 15-minute walk from Fort Kochi with its international restaurants, but around the corner of a hotel that serves freshly made, delicious food. The owners allowed us to keep our room until 4 pm for a nominal fee. They also operate a small store in their homestay for emergencies. Not for people with mobility problems as you'll have to climb stairs to get to your room.

All was ok and adequate for our 3 night stay

Very friendly family run Homestay, kind and helpful, happy to let us cool bottles in their fridge, booked taxi to airport for us. 10 minute walk from Fort Cochin Ferry so a good position to stay. Room was clean neat and tidy. Bathroom was adequate, would stay there again. Thanks Caroline and Max

The room maintenance could have been better, especially dusting/cleaning of the floor and closet. We had to dust off some things ourselves to make them usable. We would have liked an in-house laundry facility or tie-up with a quick laundromat because the hot weather produces a lot of sweaty clothes. Would also appreciate some basic toiletries like toilet paper, soap and shampoo sachets being provided. You can however buy these, if needed, from the owner’s grocery store downstairs.

We didn’t take breakfast with them, but they provided great tea on request (this was complimentary, but they asked us to review). The location is great, 1.5km from the old Fort Kochi area, and close enough to several sights and eateries/cafes. You can walk around on good weather days easily. The room had working AC and fans, double bed, closet, table and chair, and a good balcony view. It was spacious for two people. Bathroom was clean but minimal. They provided one towel. They also allowed check in and returns without hassle despite being a family run place.

Exceptional, room and bathroom has plenty of space, nice balcony, social area, and independent access, Heather Home Stay is management by the family owner who are very kindly and supporting, they always make feel confortable, breakfast is great!!! All the amenities are at walking distance, the is very quiet in the night for a good sleep. Definitely I will back during the next holiday

The budget double room is a scam. It is suitable for 1 person. Plus there's no drinking water facility. So we had to ask for drinking water and all we received was 1 bottle of water for the night for two people. And there's lots of mosquitos. So couldn't sleep at all at night.

Bed provided was like burning pot. Unable to sleep at night. No air hole in the room. No info was provided regarding the AC. I thought be default AC will be there. No AC, only ceiling fan with low speed
