The Victoria Garden is conveniently located 5 minutes from Boulevard Rd, Ghat 7, which is ideal to enjoy some good peace and quiet. The houseboat, cozy and inviting, is designed for maximum comfort. I felt at home the minute I walked in. Nazir, who runs the property, offers excellent hospitality and quickly responds to any request. He is the perfect guest, always available, and he offers sound advice.

Nazir Bhai is a wonderful host who truly treats his guests like family. His hospitality made my stay incredibly comfortable, and I felt right at home. He is also very punctual in commuting from the hotel to the ghat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay!

It was beautifully maintained and the hosts are just amazing Shabir bhai took care of me and it felt like i was in a home away from home. We shared heartfelt conversations, went for shikara ride They provided food with love and I am glad i could work with WiFi working 24*7 The bed was super comfy too

Everything at this property was amazing. The location on the lake was peaceful, the room and bed were very comfortable, there was an electric blanket so it was very warm! The host Nazir helped me with everything, he is an extremely kind and interesting man that made my stay in Kashmir unforgettable. He can also help you organise everything you need. I highly recommend you book this place!

Nazir was an excellent host! Extremely responsive and friendly. Offered things to do without any pressure. I stayed in January and it was very cold at night. I was plenty warm in bed with the electric blanket. It is otherwise cool inside the houseboat, but I was out and about most of the day.

I recently stayed on a houseboat Victoria Garden at Dal Lake in Srinagar, and it was an unforgettable experience. The houseboat was beautifully designed with traditional Kashmiri furnishings, offering a cozy and comfortable environment. The views of the lake and mountains were incredible, and the peaceful atmosphere was a perfect getaway. The hospitality was top-notch; the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and ensured all my needs were met. The food was a highlight.I highly recommend this houseboat for anyone visiting Srinagar. It's a perfect blend of nature, culture, and comfort.

The property was amazing just 5 mint away from ghat no.7, owner of the boat nazir bhai pick and drop you and take care of everything single thing. I stayed there for 2 days and it was so amazing to be stay here. Breakfast was given and nazir bhai helped so much for every single thing how to go and travel in srinagar by bus. Down to earth person . Will visit again 🤝

Just a note that is related to Jammu & Kashmir in general. A sim card bought in Delhi is likely not to work here, so do not forget to discuss the details with the host before coming to Kashmir.

These boat hotels situated within the large city of Srinagar show a wonderful contrast between the city and the silence in the middle of a lake. As for this hotel, it is really great, as is its host Nazir. He takes care of you and is ready to explain everything. He gets in touch with you beforehand and answers various questions. No problem with reaching the hotel with a boat - Nazir will come for you. Further, Nazir also has a bike and can show you various sights around (he spent several hours bringing me to different places in and out of Srinagar). In fact, there were quite a few people who told me something like "Nazir is a very good person" (starting with a person who helped me to find shared taxi at the airport). WiFi works very well: I made several video calls. And Nazir's tea was very tasty. The breakfast was simple but good.

Good stay in Srinagar H.B. Victoria garden houseboat. The owner Nazirbhai is a very good host & took care of all the needs at the hotel as well as he was a guide for planning sightseeing visits. The stay was good, quite, calm place. Breakfast was good. Overall very good experience and would love to come back again. Thankyou host Nazirbhai for your guidance right from reaching Srinagar airport till going back to airport. Very good for solo travellers. Okay for family travellers also. As a suggestion to fellow travelers, it’s better to inform Nazir bhai and the family early if you are planning to go to the town or Dalgate area for shopping or sightseeing, as they need to drop you at the ghat area from the houseboat by boat.

The houseboat is located in peaceful surroundings, even though it is so close to the main touristy town. Staying here feels like experiencing the real Kashmir. Needless to say, the price is quite affordable, and the boat owner, Nazir Bhai, and his family go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and at home, which was amazing! I stayed here for two more nights later on and will stay here again on my next visit to Kashmir. I am already missing the cozy room! The best part is that Nazir Bhai knows almost everyone in the Dal Lake area and can recommend local auto drivers and shops at reasonable prices. On my last day, he invited a local pashmina-selling family to the houseboat so that I didn't have to go out late in the evening.

Having to speak to the Kashmir clothes seller brought by the owner. Was annoyingly pushy to visit his store around 9pm. Shikara boat 2 hours boat ride I arranged with the accommodation was a complete time waste. First 30 minutes was fine but rest 1 1/2 hours the boat guy was killing time in a bush area to complete the 2 hours.

Smooth pick up from the airport. Friendly owner. Good breakfast. Good kahwa tea. Comfortable bed. Food was average if you’re a person who’s looking for taste. For me, I don’t go after food when traveling so it was okay with me

Hot water could have been more hot. Also the property could have been more good with structure. Though it was nice to the money.
