The only downside was the noise in the lobby and between rooms from other guests, especially during holidays and weekends

The front office staff must be taught about customer service, I had my do not disturb sign on and was fast asleep when a woman named Abika rang my room to say my laundry was waiting at the door , come on I was in no hurry to collect my laundry and to me it was how poor the staff are trained

Everything was superb

I have really enjoyed the ever lasting experience of a smiling faces, customer care and high level of service from each individual member staff of Grand Hayatt, including Swatti, Chief Selva, Surahv from Roof tower restaurant, the Arabic Syrian chief, and all the cafe staffs in the lobby( specifically the two respected ladies. It will be difficult for me now to stay in any other hotel and expect the same level of care, service, and hospitality.

We had an issue with one of the dishes we ordered in the in-room dining, however, upon sharing the feedback, the Chef along with the F&B came to check on us and were ready to compensate for the dish by giving us an alternative, which we politely rejected. Also, they ensured we were not charged for that.

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt was indeed a remarkable one. Though my initial booking was for the standard room, upon reaching the venue, the Duty Manager, Mr. Harikrishnan was kind enough to show us the standard room and the suite personally, and immediately, we changed our decision from std to suite upon seeing the facilities. The entire crew at the Grand Hyatt was very hospitable, and I would recommend my friends and others to visit the Grand Hyatt, Kochi, and experience the hospitality. Don't forget to have their remarkable breakfast at Malabar Cafe. Special kudos to Mr. Harikrishnan - Duty Manager.

Fast response to room service calls and great amenities. Top class breakfast and food options including the grand club lounge.
