It was quite cold and no heating in the room. Staff did arrange extra duvet covers.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. It is a little hard to reach unless you have a dedicated driver but they very kindly organised a Tuk Tuk tour for the day for us (most guests had drivers waiting). It's a great vibe and they are very helpful. The views are totally stunning and make it worth the visit. Also did a wonderful morning trek with a guide through the local mountains for 1.5hours.

Breathtaking location on the top of a hill through two kms of off-road journey by the seamless included jeep services of the property - the thrill of these 2 kms on 4-wheel drive vehicles is a nice experience. You can view the entire mountain range among the clouds below you from the balcony of your room through the huge wall to wall upvc glass doors. The Manager Mr Anwar, the reception guy Mr Adarsh and the gang of helpful chirpy young service lads in the property are always eager to help. Driver Raju is very skilled on the wheels through the difficult road stretch which is also an elephant corridor. The rooms are modern spacious clean and well laid out. There is flowing hotwater in the big modern bathrooms. The decor is tasteful and subtle. The food spread is limited as everything has to be procured from far below, yet there is chicken and eggs and some variety of south Indian dishes for the meals. You must carry your essentials like medicines and cigarettes, small munchy snacks as you prefer. Lunch is provided on order. There is no bottled water available for purchase. The RO+UV water available is suspect in quality as whole group suffered due to water related ailments after 2 days, better to carry stock of quality bottled water from Munnar town. Its a haven of tranquility and unobstructed view of nature away from the din of Munnar town. They also arrange for sight-seeing on their Mahindra vehicles for a price. They light up a campfire in the evening also.

It's not easy for everyone to travel there as you need to go off-riding for 10-15 mins but if you're an adventure lover then that's a bonus for you.

The location is fantastic, it's definitely value for money. The staff was excellent, and you can enjoy trekking nearby. It's a bit cold since it's surrounded by the forest and situated at high altitudes.

Although the view was amazing, the hotel is located up a very bumpy track which takes 15 minutes to drive up in the hotel jeep and you are unable to leave the hotel without the hotel staff driving you down the track. This made it difficult to leave the hotel and do things each day which limited our time in Munnar and made us feel a bit claustrophobic. We stayed four nights but the hotel is designed for people to stay one or two nights max. The food was also the same each night and very basic.

The staff were really lovely. The room and grounds had stunning views of the hills and the hotel is suited to people who want to stay one/two nights to take some photos and admire the scenery. The room was reasonably clean and the bed was very comfy.

The approach road. It is the worst off-road ride I ever had. The hotel was not good in the service to transport guests to snd from the resort. Had many anxious and irritating moments.

I recently stayed at Forest County, and my experience was exceptional. The staff, including Binu, Adil, and Vinu, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their professionalism and attentiveness were noteworthy. Special thanks to the driver, Raja, for providing excellent transportation services. The hotel's overall atmosphere, combined with the dedicated team, made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Forest County for a delightful hospitality experience.
