I really liked the room, very homely. They charged extra for visitor even though their visit for a shirt while. I felt that was a little odd.

The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner.

The bed was comfortible, the stuff was helpful and I could open the windows of my room which is often not possible in more fancy hotels. The area was safe and the property of the guesthouse was nice. It was a good experience to be here. They even brought the breakfast to my room.

Put up a board saying exotic villa homestay at the gate itself (beside the villa name, maybe). The room needs maintenance, and better quality furniture. The bed was comfortable but very creaky. It will be good have a larger centre table. The walls have seepage. It will be good to have a hand wash installed in the bathroom. Lots of mosquitoes and the mosquito repellent seems inadequate. Bit of cleaning/ spraying of ddt or pouring of oil in the open drains should improve the situation. The terrace needs to be cleaned. Including a toothpaste tube and some tissues as part of toiletries (we got a soap, two shampoo sachet and a roll of toilet paper) will be good. There is no tea-coffe maker in the room, though mentioned in Booking page.

The caretaker Rontu and his assistant needs special mention. They were great and made our stay really memorable. Their support and services are exceptional. Food was very testy and absolutely homely. We loved the food. Room and bathroom were clean. The geyser provides hot water quickly. Clean waste basket in room and bathroom.

It's a huge property with a good balcony and sitout. But it is not maintained properly. We avoided stepping out on to the sitout . Walls are damp and u can see the paints peeling in many places. Rooms are huge but still you may not be comfortable spending the whole day there. If you plan to only spend the night and plan to go sightseeing during the day, it is certainly a good bargain.

Located in a prime area, very close to the state zoo , shopping areas and cruise areas. Ranto the caretaker is very helpful and hospitable and will ensure to get you things you ask for.

I booked the fan room and it was a bit hot at night😅 this is the only thing which is not up to satisfactory...

The place was beautiful and among the business streets, the front yard was filled with birds chirping and greens which calms us , the staff were so nice and their service was great, after a hectic day of training and going home to this was really one of kind exprience... recommend to everyone who might visit guwahati

The basic upkeep and maintenance is not done. The hose in the bathroom was leaking. The toilet and bathroom needs to be redone fully. You don't feel good to use it. We managed because it was only a couple of nights. The switches were utterly loose because of which lights were flickering. The bed had nails protruding which could hurt someone. We had to tell them to fix it. The entire place from outside looks really good. But it's disappointing once you are in the room.

The people at the homestay Rauntu and Deepjyot were really nice and helpful. The location of this property is great.

Classic case of tricking customers with really old pictures, possibly from when this was new. Location is absolutely terrible, room was dusty and dirty. Toilets were unclean, overall terrible experience for such a highly rated homestay. Wooden built but not well kempt.
