The homestay is 3 km away from Hampi so you need a tuktuk, scooter or bike to get there. We rented bikes for the days and it was really perfect for this distance and to explore the area.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It's normal that sometimes there is no power but the house has a generator so the fan and light worked during this time, too. That's really nice during the really hot time. The owner was friendly and the dinner was delicious! They also organized a pick up service from the train station.

We loved everything about this homestay experience. It's run by a wonderful family that welcomes you into their home for breakfast and dinner. They helped plan our days, did our laundry & had everything we needed to make our stay great! I'd definitely recommend staying here! We also liked this location better than in downtown Hampi - felt like a more authentic experience. The neighborhood was so nice to walk around & everyone was very friendly.

This homestay was great. It was a lovely location on a quiet street but close to shops and restaurants. The owner Vasu was very helpful. He and his family cooked dinner and breakfast for us every day. It was all delicious, especially the chicken. The driver Gopi was very helpful too and he guided us through the sights and the Holi festival. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it

I had a lovely stay at Druva homestay. Vasu and family were wonderful hosts, making my visit to Hampi a real highlight of my trip. I looked forward to dinners and breakfasts, and to hanging out with their young sons at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and they organised a driver for me, even when I provided a wildly wrong check-in estimate. The room was meticulously clean, there was hot water, fan and ac (which I didn't need to use being Feb) and although simple it all felt fresh and comfortable. I just went everywhere with one driver so didn't pay much attention to location, but it seemed an easy spot and I liked not being in a backpacker-y area. Within walking distance were some shops, minimarts, restaurants, and it didn't take long to get to all of the tourist sites. I felt very safe in the village but also in the room (single 30F travelling alone).

An excellent homestay in Hampi. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Very good organisation, everything was laid out with attention to detail, air conditioned rooms, hot showers and very clean. We ate breakfast and dinner at the homestay, the food was cooked by the owner’s wife and was delicious. A very kind and friendly rickshaw driver, Ganesh, was arranged who took us to all of the key sites and provided us with a comprehensive and well thought out tour.

We spent three days in Hampi with a wonderful host who made us spend a very pleasant stay surrounded by a family atmosphere with great homemade food. Our host was always attentive to our needs and helped us in everything we could need. Totally recommended.

I stayed here to visit Hampi. The hosts are very nice...Lovely family with small children and grandparents! The room is really worth the price. Comfy, good A/C and one can chill on the rooftop. The village surrounding it is cute and has everything you need. One can rent a bike very near the home, in the village to visit Hampi...This was very fun and convenient!

One of the best homestays I have ever stayed. They have 24 hours hot and cold water supply, air conditioning, clean and comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The owner is extremely warm, humble and helpful. He helped us with auto rickshaw pickup from airport at a nominal price and booking moped. We also got to stay in a village with the locals instead of the crowded kamalapur area. Another plus point is happy hampi cafe is very close to the homestay and the food and ambience in the cafe is really good. Very highly recommend.

We really liked the hospitality of Mr. Vasudev (the owner). The food was homely and teally tasty. The room was very clean. He also arranged an auto for us yo roam around the city. Overall, it was a very good experience and value for money property. Definitely recommended.

The place is located at the prime location so the commute is easily accessible. The stay was very comfortable and memorable, it exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and hygienic. The best part was the home-cooked food provided by the owner of the homestays, which made the experience even more homely. They also helped us with the things which we can explore in the city and guided us with the transportation. The owner is very friendly and it truly felt safe and homely. Highly recommended , if you are planning a trip to Hampi

Vasu was a fantastic host, I felt like part of the family. I spent a lot of time with the lovely family and was able to gain wonderful insights into life in Hampi. I was even invited to a family celebration and was allowed to wear a Sari from Vasu's mom. If you want to experience real life in Karnataka, I can't think of a better host. Vasu did everything humanly possible to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very clean. I ate delicious homemade dinner every day. 10 out of 10 points, hands down! ✨

We absolutely loved this place. It's clean and comfortable and close to all the sights, but most importantly you'll be staying with a lovely family who can also provide delicious food at a very reasonable price. We ended up having all of our meals there. They also organised a very good tuk tuk driver for us to get to and from the train station and around all the sights. Thank you for everything!

We would have taken advantage of other payment options if they had been available.

Our room was basic but very clean, with AC, window screens, ceiling fan and all necessary amenities. The weather was warm, even in January, but our hosts were generous with bottles of manufactured drinking water whenever we asked. We felt that staying in Kadirampura was a good choice. The best bicycle rental shop in the area is just down the street from the Homestay and we rode bicycles to Hampi, Kamalapur, temples and other tourist sites in the region, and the surrounding countryside. The main road to Hampi is just two blocks away but the vicinity of the Homestay is relatively quiet except for the sounds of neighborhood kids playing and the rooster next door. The main reason that we can recommend this Homestay highly is the kindness of our hosts, who treated us like family for our entire stay. We received a text as we arrived at Hoepete station on the overnight train, and as we exited the station an autorickshaw driver was waiting to take us to Kadirampura. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Homestay every day. The food was freshly prepared, healthy and delicious. It was easy to arrange autorickshaw travel to any local destination as needed. We suggest that guests be prepared to pay via Phone Pe, since payment by credit card is not available. If you are not set up to pay via Phone Pe, it would be reasonable to plan ahead and have the necessary rupees in cash prior to your departure date.

The host was very friendly and helpful. He arranged tuk tuk pick up to and from Hospet train station and a driver for two days of touring the area. He even arranged my train booking to Bijapur. The homestay was very comfortable and excellent value. Highly recommend.
