The rooms were fine but the photos on line are definitely very old pictures. The huts all need some tlc. It's OK, but basic.

Excellent restaurant staff who provided excellent customer service. The rooms are big so the air conditioning struggles a bit to cool the space during the day (stayed in late Feb) but works well at night. Recommend a garden view over a partial sea view as the garden rooms generally have more shade.

The rooms are quite tatty. The aircon constantly switches off and on in a cycle every few minutes. The manager explained that this was because of voltage issues with the electricity supply, and he advised to leave the aircon on constantly during the day for it to cool the room down.

The location is perfect. Right on the beach, at one end of the bay. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were excellent. Friendly and so helpful. Especially Sanjay Rana, the best waiter! The food in the restaurant was also excellent and the prices were good.

A bit of paint would smarten up the bathroom.

Our garden view room was spacious with adequate storage space in the bathroom and bedroom. The room cooled down quickly with the a.c., and only the fan was needed at night. The balcony was well shaded by plants and trees and pleasant for sitting out in the evening.The staff were excepional in making you feel welcome and helping with any problems. The food and breakfast choices were very good.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

The only drawback was that my hut was a little noisy as it backed on to the kitchen of next door’s restaurant. But that can be avoided by staying in one of the garden huts rather than the one with a partial sea view

The huts are extremely spacious with a comfortable bed,hot water & air conditioning. The location is also great-Cuba is located at the north end of the beach which is fairly quiet. The restaurant also deserves a special mention-I had fish for dinner twice and it was delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful too-all in all I really enjoyed myself and would come again!

Our bathroom needed a refurbishment as we didn’t have hot water.

The food was excellent and very reasonable. Everything we had was delicious. The staff were fantastic. Really helpful and friendly. Fantastic location.

Regular cleaning of the room balcony and provision of bath essentials was not there. Also, some local goan breads etc could be kept for people who want it. Also, there was no first aid kit at the property. We had to drive down 3 kms to get an antacid.

We wanted a peaceful vacation and Cuba was able to give us that. Many times we cancelled our plans of venturing out to just be at the shack. Special mention to Kuldeep & Pravin who was very sweet to us all the time and served us wholeheartedly. Thankyou Cuba for helping us make our vacation more memorable.

I would have been better if room cleaning was on a regular basis rather than on request. Despite two confirmation emails stating that a taxi driver would meet us at the airport this did not happen and we had to make our own arrangements

the restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The position of the property to the north of Patnem beach was perfect as it was quiet and away from the busy central area.

Nothing as such. The pricing was on very high side due to peak season. Hot water kettle in the room is advisable.

The place is neat and clean and with all basic needs. Rooms are comfortable and very spacious. The best part is the restaurant. In Goa one cannot be wrong with the food and Cuba Patnem Kitchen serves best food. Service is prompt, staff is very friendly and helpful. Ideal stay if you are looking for quiet and convenient stay away from other loud Beaches.

Before arriving we had several emails from the boss. He wanted us to pay in cash before arriving. We were staying in a resort up in the hills with poor internet and we spent several attempts trying to arrange this to no avail. This stress was not what we wanted on holiday. We paid in cash on arrival and all was ok.

The rooms are horrendous! Ours had a hole in the ceiling and gaps in the walls. Cheap horrible curtains, all tired and looks absolutely nothing like the photos. Basic bathroom. Bean bags on beach faded reds, got bitten sitting on them. Whole place needs bulldozing and rebuilding.

Great location with restaurant right in the beach. Fantastic staff, the manager dealt with our lost luggage and took all the stress off our shoulders. Serving staff great and obliging. Breakfast good.

Toilet in one room didn't flush properly and there was a lack of wardrobe space.

Staff and location are fantastic. I have stayed at Cuba before and the prices have increased quite a bit. I do think the rooms need an upgrade to compare with some of the other accommodation available for a similar price.
