How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Feel price is high for one day stay
Costa verdy villa was very nice, Room was clean and good with facilities.

1. The elevator that opens up right in the living room of the unit is unsettling during the night time. That design is a little bit odd. When our kids were sleeping in the other room across from us we couldn't sleep very well knowing the elevator could open up. In the end, we decided to sleep with one kid each. 2. There is a spring mattress in one of the rooms (Clouds Rest) and that is not very comfortable at all. 3. The bathrooms are nothing like what you see in the videos. There are holes on the wall leftover from some rewiring work or whatever. The shower sprays everywhere (in both bathrooms). soaking tub does not look usable and has a lot of scaling from hardwater. The fixtures also need changing or fixing! 4. Large lizards dash across the living room wall into the bar area and I get very weird with lizards! 5. The unit does have a kitchenette and yet it lacks some basic things like plates, spoons and common things like sugar, salt etc. 6. I think some maintenance of the property is definitely in order.
1. Location was fantastic - proximity to the beach and ease of getting uber rides, food delivered from nearby restaurants and also from the grocery store called Abi & Abi Mart. 2. The housekeepers (Raju and Panchu) were extremely responsive and respectful. Other people on the property were also very friendly and warm. 3. The sea view rooms that we booked had a balcony overlooking the beach and it was so serene to sit out at all times of the day. 4. The breakfast was sumptuous and tasty and most importantly agreed with all of us.

Overall it was nice stay. Ambiance was very good. Staff's behaviour was courteous. Rooms are spacious and Bed is comfy. Location is close to the beach.

The communal spaces were enormous and so comfortable. We had a huge bedroom with a well stocked bathroom. Our host was lovely, and helped with a lot of local transport advice. Very easy access to the beach and somewhere I would happily come back to.

Most of the basic amenities didn't work like water heater in coule of rooms wasnt functioning, broken shower, head, very small kitchen with less utensils. Also, with 2 levels of the building, the lift was under service during our stay, which made it hard for elderly and kids. Communication by staff members was bad by providing incorrect details as all amenities are working, and then giving the two weeks prior cyclone as an excuse was totally unprofessional. The building interior items are very old, and some bath fixtures were not working properly. Overall, it's not worth the money and many other resorts in that area.will be a better alternative.

We booked a stay at Costa Verde based on a recommendation from our friend and really loved the stay.. The location was great, very close to the beach yet in a very calm and peaceful locality.. We had easy access to Cabs / Autos and some really great restaurants are located nearby to visit or get your food delivered.. The common areas including the pool were kept neat and tidy.. The staff was specially very helpful and prompt with all the requests we made.. One most important reason for us to book this stay was our baby for who we needed access to a kitchen for preparing her meals; the staff made sure the place was always clean and hygienic so we did not have a thing to worry about..
