No parking in front of property. We had to park car away on the beach side and take all our luggage through a muddy way. One suggestion would be to pave the way so that we can roll our suitcases at least. Maybe a small way to reach car at least till the front door of property Also when you travel with your old members of family please specify that you want to stay close to each other and make sure you get those two villas in the two storey building. These apartments are different buildings One is a house with three bed rooms seperated as three apartments. Each apartment has fridge and stove and cutlery Then there is a second building which consists of 5 apartments two in the bottom. Two on first floor and one on the terrace. No lift provided so be ready to carry your luggage upstairs. Thank god for the caretaker being there always to help you with anything you need Two restaurants nearby at walking distance so no problem for food Plenty of shops on the cliff if you want to go for a walk along the cliff and have dinner

In room facilities and nearness to beach Caretaker was always available on the phone if needed. Beautiful surroundings and lot of fireflies in the night Nearness to the cliff walk

It was very hot and there was no air conditioning. It’s down an alleyway and hard to get to with suitcases. There’s a lot of rubbish at the helipad entrance

It was close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Suji the caretaker was very helpful and organized a backwater trip for us and TukTuk to the railway station

I am glad that I choose this property for Varkala stay. The kitchen option made it whole stay very comfortable. Sujit was very helpful in terms of our request to change room because our room didn't have AC which was fault from my end. Later we were lucky to get a room with AC. The balcony space makes it ideal for relaxation and homely feeling as well. Sujit helped us with scooter renting and more. So definitely recommend ppl to staying here.

Be ready that to reach the beach will take some time. :)

We spent here 2 nights and we really like it. We appreciated the kitchen - to make morning tea or fruit salad. Thank u for your hospitality. We can really recommend it.

Hard to find. If you go to the helipad (which is a car park) as you look at the Zion restaurant there is a footpath to the left. Go down it, left then right and the property is at the end on the right. No balcony area.

Located very close to the cliff, restaurants and shops. Very clean and spacious.

The stay was great, but only took a point off because a) bed was too small for one of us (if you're 6ft or taller you will not fit), b) water pressure in the bathroom is lower than ideal, and c) host didn't offer to return the change for the payment we made, which was a very small amount, but it's still in poor taste to not even offer and just say thank you. The apartment could use a dustbin in the toilet, and a water purifier or bottled water for guests. But those aren't big necessities, just feedback.

Property is very close to Varkala Helipad, so it's quite accessible. Apartment is clean, the air conditioning is functional, and the kitchen is good. The host, Suji, is friendly and responsive, and he let us check out an hour late (the designated check out time is quite early at 10am).

Fan was making lot of noise. Bed sheets were very rough. Location is not accessible by cab. There was no electricity backup.

Everything was good

The welcome and the communication from the start . The room is beautifully decorated, the bed is very comfy, the linen smells nice, the fridge is a very nice touch , everything I needed was in the room. The location is perfect . Sudji always helped when needed.

There was a continuous voltage fluctuation in the room - especially at the evening. In case of a power outage, nothing works. At least the light/fan should work with power backup. The AC takes hours to get the room cool

Best quiet place with a balcony and kitchen. The host manager Suji is helpful. Good facilities if you plan to stay longer here -> You get balcony. You get kitchen and required utensils You get small refrigerator. Overall the experience was good

There was development at a neighbouring property that meant building noise during the day, although for most of this time I was out.

This small hotel is down a quiet alley very close to Varkala beach attractions. My apartment had a large bedroom, decent shower room and kitchen and a balcony overlooking some of the garden and undeveloped ‘jungle’. Suji, who runs operations, is a lovely guy and will sort out any problems.

Finding the place isn’t straightforward as there are no signs so you need to ring and a member of staff will meet you so then it’s easy. They wouldn’t take credit card even though they say they do on Booking.com. Not necessarily a problem but you do need cash! We were there for 10 days and the room wasn’t serviced once but I think if we had asked they probably would have come in and refreshed towels etc.

The location was great as it was quiet and peaceful yet only a short walk away to the beach and main ‘strip’ which had lots of bars, restaurants, shops, massage places, coffee shops etc. Very relaxing place. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was as photographed and clean, comfortable and spacious. Good bed, good WiFi, good shower, good kitchen, good air con. Plenty of sockets for charging etc. Balcony had comfortable chairs, a fan and overlooked trees. Great value for money.

It was inconvenient for me that card payment was not possible. The atm that works with eu-cards was a bit far away

Decent and comfortable place to stay, especially for a longer period. Clean, spacious enough, well equipped. Bed was very comfortable for me, but maybe someone would prefer it to be softer. Close to the beach and restaurants.

The residence has no direct road accessibility. A 1 metre wide Walkway passage is the only route to access. That's the only drawback in case you're carrying heavy bags / having elderly people with you.

The rooms were well maintained & kitchen amenities were also available. Hot water was available round the clock and Mr. Suji (Manager) was very kind in making sure we felt at home. The location was just a brisk 5 min walk away from all the Cafe's & Shops at Varkala Cliff. Very happy with the stay. We stayed in a Non-AC room. But still the fan was enough as the nights got chilly.
