Rubbish is disposed of by burying it on the beach! The beach at the hotel isn’t really usable as a holiday beach. The local fishermen come every morning and haul in the nets by hand, and local men come for a bath. We didn’t mind this at all, watching the fishermen was interesting and they attracted big numbers of birds, which was great, but if you want to sunbathe, Kovalam beach is a 10 minute Tuktuk ride away.

Very good small hotel in a lovely location, with helpful, friendly staff. Our room overlooked the water and was very clean and comfortable, with a balcony. The pool was clean and pool towels provided. The restaurant is on an island 50 metres away and reached by a small boat, punted by staff. Food was good, with a range of choices. There’s room service available for breakfast and dinner and there was a table and chairs in the room. Decent Wi-Fi. Ask for a room in the hotel ( there are some rooms on the restaurant island) so you won’t need to keep being punted across for the pool etc…) We used the laundry service, it was good value and clothes returned in 24 hours.

Nothing, it’s lovely

Lovely relaxing location, and the boat trip to our accommodation and the restaurant was novel Super friendly staff, nice room and good restaurant It’s a short way from the main beaches but easy to get transport to there, or take an hour walk along the seafront which is quite interesting. It’s nice and quiet as a result Pool is lovely too, perfect temperature

The beach is apparently not safe for swimming, and no super easy to get to from the main part of the hotel is the boatmen are not available...though mostly they are available at very short notice.

Lovely view from our room. Good seafood. Friendly, helpful service. Great massage. Interesting to watch the fishermen pull in their catch in the shore nets. The peaceful boat crossing for meals ...across the backwater... we only ever had to wait a few minutes.. very relaxing

I went with my parents, who are over 60, and unfortunately, the lack of a lift was a bit disappointing. Our rooms were on the second floor, which made it somewhat inconvenient for them.

I loved the resort for its location and the stunning views from the room. It's a bit removed from the busy Kovalam Beach, making it a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The restaurant offers tasty food, and the Ayurvedic massage is a wonderful addition to the experience. My kids loved the swimming pool at this resort

There was a lot of music coming over loudspeakers that spoilt the tranquility of the place. Especially early morning.

The property was in a beautiful setting and crossing the lake for breakfast was simply adorable!

The nearby beach is pretty difficult to reach, and the litter on it puts one off making the effort. Shame really because otherwise this is a lovely hotel in a love,y location.

The place is rather inaccessible, the beach is small and the waves are too high. There is no shuttle to the airport, but it was advertised on the website. The restaurant is good, but most of the entries on the menu were not available

Dingy resort surrounded by garbage covered lake that had to be crossed to get to my room. Staff at reception were unwelcoming, and the whole atmosphere was dingy. The room had a dingy feel to it, the windows were dirty. For the price, I had higher expectations.

The view of the ocean from the balcony was nice.

There is a resort just next to this one, which had big functions with loud music almost every day! (We stayed there for 6night) You could even hear the music and the beat in your room with closed door! The receptionist only complaint to the other resort after we repeatedly complained.

The location is very beautiful. The pool is big and nice to swim in, and there are comfortable sunbath chairs. The staff was veeeery friendly, kind and helpful!

They ask you to pay on arrival, with a card machine that doesn't work, a 10pm, after a whole day of travel, and after keeping your passport and your visa... We spend one hours trying to pay, unseccefully. We finally paid by cash on the morning. A bit anoying when you arrive after a day trip.
