Location

Not worth the money they ask compared with other places. Breakfast can be improved a lot, very difficult to communicate and too basic. Can't be paid with card, although it says on booking you can.

Best place in Varanasi. Good price and position really good, close to old city town and ghat, but also quite zone (really important in India). Room good and clean, the brothers of the structure are simply amazing! Kind and you can ask everytings about the city for really experience and for escape scammers. We love us! Disponible also a little rooftop for yoga practice and breckfast

My stay here was so good, I enjoyed their housing for the good facilities, good location and the great atmosphere. The host is very helpful and friendly.

Another home in Varanasi Naveen and his brother Krishna is very kind from the starting , 1) They arrange the pick up and dropping from the airport 2) The Walking tour with Golu is also be very nice and full of knowledge , its also be arrange by them 3) Its near to Assi Ghat 4) Simple and Delicious breakfast which serve in the beautiful roof top. 5) Room they upgraded me with extra charge but that room is so nice and comfy , air condition and hot water both working so well. If in the future i have chance to visit the Varanasi i definitely come back to such beautiful small guest house.

I loved the proximity to Assi Ghat. The area around Assi Ghat is also more relaxed and chill than the main tourist areas which can be very stressful. I did yoga on the rooftop and met other travelers. Navi (manager) was extremely helpful in helping me book a ticket to my next destination, recommending local spots, and helping with everything I needed. He was proactive in contacting me through booking.com and making sure he knew what time I would arrive, and then kindly waited for me, even though I arrived quite late at night.

I wish the bathroom had a fan.

Banaras guest house is an excellent place to spend a few days in Varanasi. It’s located really close to the river, in Assi ghat area. The owners, Krishna and his brother, are really nice and helpful. They made our stay unforgettable!

I liked everything here, no complaints at all!

Near ASSI ghat

Room not clean, rubbish bin full, wc dirty, place where you have breakfast not clean at all. Full, full of flies

Good location, big room, comfy beds, clean, hot water, welcoming hosts, AC works very well, no mosquitoes. The breakfast on the terrace is a good moment to meet other travellers!

The traffic noise (honking) is far away, but you can still here it, at least if your room is on the upper floors. Nothing good earplugs can’t cure, though. Think about it if noise sensitive!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great facilities and location for where we wanted to go. Nice array of choices for breakfast including omelette, toast and fruit. The room was tidy and clean and of good standard. We loved the roof top aspect and it was lovely with the sun rising in the mornings and for yoga, so relaxing. They organise a boat trip for a reasonable price too which we had a laugh on ( please see photos) and provide airport pick up for an additional cost.. We met so many great travellers who we have now formed an amazing friendship with. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and our stay so fun Naveen and family. Exceptional host :)

Awesome environment to spend your vacation. Krishna ji & Naveen the owners are very helpful, guides me perfectly in the whole trip of Varanasi..loves the place, nice roof top ganges view...truly recommended...👍👍

Wonderful owners, very kind, friendly and welcoming. The place is super close to the holy Ganges river. Best place to meet amazing people.
