Best place in Varanasi. Good price and position really good, close to old city town and ghat, but also quite zone (really important in India). Room good and clean, the brothers of the structure are simply amazing! Kind and you can ask everytings about the city for really experience and for escape scammers. We love us! Disponible also a little rooftop for yoga practice and breckfast

I wish the bathroom had a fan.

I loved the proximity to Assi Ghat. The area around Assi Ghat is also more relaxed and chill than the main tourist areas which can be very stressful. I did yoga on the rooftop and met other travelers. Navi (manager) was extremely helpful in helping me book a ticket to my next destination, recommending local spots, and helping with everything I needed. He was proactive in contacting me through booking.com and making sure he knew what time I would arrive, and then kindly waited for me, even though I arrived quite late at night.

Banaras guest house is an excellent place to spend a few days in Varanasi. It’s located really close to the river, in Assi ghat area. The owners, Krishna and his brother, are really nice and helpful. They made our stay unforgettable!

The traffic noise (honking) is far away, but you can still here it, at least if your room is on the upper floors. Nothing good earplugs can’t cure, though. Think about it if noise sensitive!

Good location, big room, comfy beds, clean, hot water, welcoming hosts, AC works very well, no mosquitoes. The breakfast on the terrace is a good moment to meet other travellers!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great facilities and location for where we wanted to go. Nice array of choices for breakfast including omelette, toast and fruit. The room was tidy and clean and of good standard. We loved the roof top aspect and it was lovely with the sun rising in the mornings and for yoga, so relaxing. They organise a boat trip for a reasonable price too which we had a laugh on ( please see photos) and provide airport pick up for an additional cost.. We met so many great travellers who we have now formed an amazing friendship with. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and our stay so fun Naveen and family. Exceptional host :)

Had a great time with the brothers. They really go the extra mile way for their guests. My room was large, quiet and clean with shower. No noise in my room. At the end of a tiring but inspiring day in Varanasi so nice to sit on roof top with a cold Kingfisher. Thank you bros and thank breakfast uncle.

Amazing location. Very close to one of the Ghats, many nice cafés around. The room was very clean (specially for Varanasi) and the bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was nice too and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Good place for Varanasi, but because of Maha Kumbh and poor management they told me on the same day I was arriving that my booking was canceled… imagine after a very very long journey… so unprofessional. In the end they offered me a place to sleep on the floor because all accommodations were full in Varanasi. One week later I booked again and their prices had increased from 850(10$) to 1350 (16$)… I know that was Maha Kumbh but it’s not professional…
