Johnson and his family were extremely kind and helpful. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with hot water, a recently renovated bathroom, access to a kitchen in the building, a lovely rooftop, filtered water, soap, towels, and toilet paper… The location was quiet yet close to everything. Everything was perfect — I highly recommend this homestay.

Aaron’s Homestay in Cochin is a gem! The location is perfect—within walking distance to major attractions and right next to some excellent Ayurveda clinics. The owners are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, all at a very affordable price.

Great location, really spacious and clean room. Friendly family feel from the start to end. Johnson was so helpful with booking me a spot at the local theatre and even a really early morning airport pickup home. Nothing was too much. I loved the roof terrace space too and it was great to access to filtered water.

Too far from the main tourist area on the river, for me anyway, but then again I am over seventy. Small room, sparsely furnished. Might be a little depressing if staying more than one or two nights.

A budget room for one night, fair value for money and the owner seemed a very nice, helpful man.

Everything was perfect!

Comfortable rooms with new bathrooms, mosquito nets on the doors and AC, and extremely clean at such an unbeatable price! If that wasn’t enough, Johnson went out of his way to make sure I was settled and was always happy to help. I really enjoyed my stay here. This may have been the best place I stayed in after one month in India!

We only stayed for one evening but Johnson instantly made us feel welcome. Hot shower with great water pressure, great A/C and coffee facilities for the morning. Johnson kindly let us keep our many bags in his house and return for showers as our bus didn’t leave until midnight the next day. Very pleasant experience would definitely recommend.

Great and easy communication, I had a super early flight to Kochi and was able to arrive early to the homestay and rest in the communal space before the room was ready. Also the room was really clean and there was a kitchen area.

This place really was beyond my expectations. The attention to details is exceptional: Mosquito nets that actually block mosquitos, a mattress that's actually comfortable to sleep on, purified water in the shared fully loaded kitchen, a/c, fan, hot water in shower, quiet (!) and a wonderful family - all super friendly and helpful. I really appreciate my stay there. Thank you.

Not a complaint, a suggestion- as we were on 3rd floor a kettle in the room might have been nice instead of trekking up and down to the kitchenette, but that is a very minor issue really- overall great!

Johnson was so kind and helpful to us and the location was quiet ( as long as you don't mind the occasional call to prayer) but very close to all the sights. Room was spacious and comfortable, bathroom well equipped and clean.

Unfortunately you cannot get breakfast as part of the homestay. It would have been nice to maybe have some tea or water on arrival but I understand it's not that kind of homestay.

Comfy, safe and friendly stay. The roof terrace is absolutely gorgeous. Because the property is off the main road it is pretty quiet but still very close to all Fort Kochi delights. Johnson was great and sorted us out tickets for the backwaters and the traditional Kerelan dance. Good AC as well.

Everything was better than anticipated

Clean, cool and comfortable room. Mosquito screens, air con and a fan. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Shops very close by, a gentle stroll to the beach and great restaurants. Better than we anticipated. Very friendly reception from Cletus, who happily answered our questions and made useful suggestions for eating out, shopping and navigating Fort Cochi. As with all our booking.com accommodation, we paid cash at the property (card details given when booking are just in case of a no show). I happily recommend staying here. Fantastic Value for money.

Everything is fine. Must stay here if you want to explore the town. As the hotel is in Fort Kochi, most of the places are at a walking distance. The hosts are very friendly. They'll guide you. One thing I can say is that you'll meet them as hosts but leave this homestay as a family member.
