Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Nothing, it was perfect
This hotel is stunning. The staff are really friendly and efficient, They all made new feel very welcomed and safe. I had just had a bad experience at another hotel and had booked 76 Friends Colony at the last moment. The rooms are spacious and grand, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a lovely deep bath. The breakfast at the Italian restaurant was delicious and plenty to eat. I can’t fault my stay. The hotel is in a very safe part of this area and is gated I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are a solo traveller.

Everything - the host was excellent, the staff were friendly and caring, the breakfast was delicious, there was a washing machine for guest use, the beds were comfortable, and the layout was great.

The only hiccup at all was a slight miscommunication about the location of breakfast. But we eventually found it and it was more a fun story than an actual issue.
The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious, (they had the best paratha we had the entire trip), but all of the food at all of eateries on site was excellent. It's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood so it's very peaceful. A nice oasis from the chaos of the city.

Equivalent of £40 for 3 drinks on our first night prevented us from going back to the bar which was very nice.
Such a beautiful place to stay. Very calm and quiet. We had our best sleep in a gorgeous bed with beautiful bedding. Sadly we could not stay longer. The guy out front gave excellent service for sorting Ubers for us. Cafe next door and bar in hotel very nice.

As all hotels in India, it doesn’t have a heating system and AC was not very helpful for heating. But this was the case for everywhere we stayed. Location can be tricky for late hours (after 1 am) because it is located inside a gated community and only one gate stays open all night long. This can be an issue if your taxi/uber driver and yourself doesn’t know the way.
This is not a hotel. More like a long term stay with rental houses on upper floors. But the staff is very helpful and the amenities are there. Very clean. Most of the staff don’t speak English but that a sister property of the hotel next door and they help out if there is need.

It looked like the reception is not occupied all the time so when we need something it was easier to communicate via messages over the booking platform.
The rooms are very spacious and the shower has a good pressure. The district is a very calm. We had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant next door. The vicinity to metro station is a bit tricky - there is a wall around the colony so it is a bit walk to the station (15 min or so).

I would like to have more people.
Gorgeous quiet property with beautiful gardens and easy access to venues in New Delhi and Delhi. Exceptional quality restaurants with nurturing ambience. Unique Cuisine. The Singh Family Hosts are very welcoming.

Exceptional hosts - the warmth of their welcome and care made our stay so very special. Any requests were dealt with promptly. The staff were courteous and helpful. Delicious breakfast at The Manor which is part of the complex. We loved staying in this leafy old enclave of Delhi. It was great for our family group of 9! A home from home. We hope to come back again. Perfect! 😃

The rug in the room under the coffee table was FILTHY and covered in stains. Get it shampooed or ideally buy another rug! Coffee cups on tea tray were cracked and stained. One of the two bedside lamps was not working. Small details but at this price point it's small details that matter
