    “Rock castle is the perfect place in Leh as base camp to visit Ladakh - The location is great, close to market as well as the castle and monastery , rooms are spacious and comfortable - The restaurant procides great meals at affordable prices - There is a nice garden to relax by the end of the day and above everything wonderful staff is always ready to accomodate and help the guests”

If you need anything like tickets, tours, rent a bike, car or taxi you just ask him. The stay included a nice local breakfast and the restaurant also offers daily lunch and dinner.”

    “Nilza Guest House is the best choice for acclimatization, located at 3450 meters above sea level, about 100 meters lower than most accommodations in Leh, but within walking distance of the Central Market. Sleep low at night and walk high during the day to acclimatize efficiently. It's a small, family-run place, and the owner and his son are very helpful with transport arrangements and recommendations for sightseeing. We used their help to reach the Ladakh Nomad Festival in Hanle, Tso-Moriri, Nubra, and Zanskar via the new "Chadar" route, returning each time to stay at the guesthouse again. Other long-term backpackers often choose this place as their base, and they for sure know which place is friendly and worth the money!”
