Since it is in arabic community, israeli drivers refuse to enter the area which is not the host fault. Uphill walk from bus stop Only direct Bus stop service is #236 E Sheikh street - Lionsgate You need to take two bus route to reach city center or take a taxi.

The landlord is very nice and welcoming lady. The place was clean with all necessary equipment (shampoo, soap, etc.). We would rent it again!

Ac was not there .. that was the only issue. But there were 2 good big fans... But Aida hospitality will forsee everything.

Aida was a wonderful host. She tries her level best to help her guests. I wish her good luck and happy life. Will see her if ever we come to the place. Thanks

The only issue was the glass door on the bathroom, which limited privacy somewhat.

It was in easy reach of historical sights to visit.

This place is perfect for a group of friends or family. The owner was very kind and helpful. The place was perfectly clean, and we had all we needed. We felt like home... 100% recommended.

the oven and bidet is quite old, and can now be replaced. other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

the place is situated in the arab community of israel. 2.5km from the old city. closest to Olive Mountain and Garden of Gethsemane and Zion Gate. location is 5minutes from the bus station (up the hill). the place is nothing fancy but you get the value of your money. We stayed in a studio with a double bed and a sofa bed. It has all the utilities -including washing a machine, fridge, stove, oven toaster, and kitchenwares, and towels. The place is clean and has a "homey" atmosphere. The washroom is quite small, but works as should. plus the host, Ms. Aida is very friendly. there are two grocery stores near the bus stop where necessities are cheaper than those in the old city and anywhere we've been. you may want to get some stuff before walking up the hill after a busy day. we also saw only two restaurants in the area - a pizzeria and a chicken place. Wolt (food delivery app) does not deliver in the area.

The kitchen that was assigned to us was a bit small .

The owner Aida(I hope the name is spelt correct), the rooms.However, Aida was so kind that she allowed us the use of her kitchen sink, the drinking water facility from her filter and the use of her washing machine and drier. It was more like staying with a family or a good friend than in a rented accommodation. She was there to help us with anything we needed. We were staying in the Arab area of Jerusalem city. We felt very secure and safe.

We couldn't find it but the owner helped us. Just I wouldn't offer a kitchen if there is no water and you have to always wash the dishes in the bathroom. Also there was a bit noise from the flat upstairs- kids running and stomping late night and early morning. We left the room early morning and come only to sleep.

A really big house, nice parking, helpful owner, allowed us to wash and take fresh water, provided a hairdryer. Thank you!

Everything - Aida was the kindest, most helpful hostess, and the apartment was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The Garden of Gethsemane, Mount of Olives and holocaust memorial are close by.

the host is rude the location is terrible it is on a very steep hill wich she wonth tell you she was very rude when we were asking for direcction we were tired and wait at the airport because we arrived early we ask her if we could at least leave our belongs ath the apartment she did not aloud us when we were up the hill like half way we were very tired and we call her how far was that place she said keep coming up i said up out loud fu word she heard me and treating me with canceling the place rhat is noth right at all then the apartment is not in apartment is two rooms in her house wich if you are a non smoker please donth go there she smokes inside the house and the fumes get inside the rooms there is no kitchen only the back porshe acomodeted with couple of kitchen utensils i will not recomend that place to anybody

The flat is at demi-basement with litle natural daylight coming through the window. The flat has to be renovated , and the electrical system must be redone as the electrical wires are hanged on the walls. The kitchen sink and especially the bathroom door must be replaced. The provided address for the flat was totally inaccurate. I had to make several very expensive international phone calls to the flat owner and even to pass the phone to the local taxi driver to ask the flat owner for guidance on how to get there. The flat is located in an Arab neighbourhood and the taxi driver was also Arab but despite that they didn't communicate well, as I was left 50 metters away from the flat location. Of course, I had to call again the flat owner and ask for additional gudance. Eventually , with the assistance of a kind local teenager who was passing by , I managed to reach the flat location. The cost of the taxi ride was also expensive as I was charged 70 sheqells. I know, I was ripped off, I should have paid 50 sheqells but this is tipical for all local taxi drivers, just stay away and avoid them if possible. There is also a bus station at about 500 meters away downhill with the bus link number 236 , but just be aware that from the bus station you have to walk on a very steep road uphill to reach the location of the flat !

If you don't expect luxury , it is ok, you get what you paid for, but again, don't expect much. The wifi provided good internet conection. In about 35 minutes walking you can get to the Lion's Gate at the Old City, about 3 kilometers away.

Very convenient for a family of 5 it’s a two bedroom studio with a kitchenette and bathroom very clean an tidy nicely furnished and decorated with grocery store nearby all was really convenient and made our stay of 3 nights very comfortable
